Obama turned what was a decent Weekly Address, dealing with the deaths of the diplomatic personnel in Libya, into idiocy with one short paragraph
This tragic attack takes place at a time of turmoil and protest in many different countries. I have made it clear that the United States has a profound respect for people of all faiths. We stand for religious freedom. And we reject the denigration of any religion – including Islam.
Especially Islam. Where’s the condemnation for those, including Obama’s own campaign advisers, who denigrate the Mormon religion? And Christianity? And Judaism?
He also seems to want to reject the notion of Free Speech in stopping people from “denigrating” religion.
I am not especially religious, but I have noted that all religions can be discussed and made fun of except for Islam. Which means we need to be doing more of it. It is time to get these people out of the middle ages.
Well this should put a stop to all the anti-Christian bile spilling forth from the blogs of his loyal supporters.
Do you all realize that last night government authorities showed up at the home of an American citizen – at midnight, and literally dressed in brown shirts – to haul him down to the police station for questioning because he was involved with a movie that made this administration uncomfortable?
Ask your Liberal friends who are spinning furiously to cover for this what they would think if this happened under a Bush administration.
Militant…. right on. While I do not know the specifics of that issue, they are trying to play it off as questioning him related to a violation of his probation. It is still highly upsetting given the timing and the pressure that has been spewed by those who should be the zions and protectors of free expression.
But, this atrocious series of events, that started with the assassinations of American citizens and the multiple attacks upon our sovereign soil, should wake people up now that Islam and liberal ideology is antithetical to all western and American values.
We need a new active Cold War against Islam. If we are not going to attack those who protect terror supporters, then we need to conduct another Cold War against them.
These attacks upon our citizens and our lands needs to be answered.
Ok, after perusing Instapundit’s post and a few other news sources, it appears that an army of local sheriffs hauled this guy in to be questioned by the FBI.
That is not a probation violation action.
This administration needs to be impeached and we need to find out who sent the brownshirt thugs after this man and impeach them. And I don’t care that we have only a month and half to go till election. We still have about 4 months of his occupying the office left.
It is the height of absurdity that it has taken nearly 2 years to determine what happened during Fast and Furious and we still have not gotten any form of justice accomplished. And now, we have something much worse happen. 4 Americans were assassinated and this inept administration has the gall to send out brownshirts and the FBI to a citizen’s home, haul him in to an authority location, and BLAME HIM for the assassinations.
Am really surprised that Obama did not come out and say that this man acted stupidly.
Instead of just his grandmother, this F*in Empty Suit has thrown America under the bus. And nearly half this country is ok with it.
