Lebanese Do Not Like The United Nations, Either

From My Way News

BEIRUT (Reuters) – Lebanese protesters broke into the United Nations headquarters in Beirut on Sunday, smashing windows and ransacking offices, after an Israeli air strike killed at least 40 people in south Lebanon.

Several thousand people massed outside the building in downtown Beirut chanting "Death to Israel, death to America. We sacrifice our blood and souls for Lebanon."

Demonstrators tore down a United Nations flag outside the building and ripped it to shreds and called on Hizbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah to launch rocket attacks on Tel Aviv.

So much for the UN being the vessel to solve the Mid East problems.

And, of course, the UN takes shots at Israel

Geir Petersen, the personal representative of U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan in Lebanon, condemned the Israeli attack on the village of Qana and called for an immediate investigation.

"I strongly condemn today's killing of tens of civilians by Israeli shelling of residential buildings in the village of Qana," he said in a statement.

Perhaps he could condemn Hezbollah surrounding their military positions with civilians, including children. And, perhaps the UN could consider their own 1959 Declaration of the Rights of Children, "Humanity must give the child the best of itself" when they see sights such as these:

We in the West have snappy dumbass chants like, “Hell no, we won’t go!” Why is it that the Muslims always have these long chants? Who writes them for the chanters? A dull culture indeed!

“We give our blood for Lebanon, and the Oak Avenue Gymnastic Foundation whose Administrator is generous to the Sharia Foundation of Hezbollah!” Rah! Rah!

    Or they could be dead.

  3. Good points, both of y’all.

  4. The United Nations doesn’t really care about the conflict much anyway, other than using it as a propaganda tool to further it’s goal of world control. Both Israel and Hezbolla seem to have the right attitude toward their interference.

I’m not sure why the UN would want to be invloved. Not alot of profit from graft there.
