Hot Sh*t, Bush Curses

Of all the cockamamie stories for the Big Media to focus on, this is about the last one I would have picked (from the Clinton News Network):

Apparently not expecting an open mike to pick up his remarks, Bush told Blair: "See the irony is what they need to do is get Syria to get Hezbollah to stop doing this shit and it's over."

The story is interesting and all, perhaps front page worthy, but is it really top story worthy? Apparently, too CNN, MSNBC, The Katie Couric Network, ABC News, and even Fox News this is big stuff. I picked CNN because it is the top of the top stories. You can watch and listen live (written with bated breath) at the time of writing, top left corner with a picture.

Please. The Middle East is going to hell in a handbasket. The chances of escalation to include Syria and Iran, which would drag the United States into the mix as Iran attempts to cross Iraq, are pretty good. Hezbollah will not give in, the Lebanese government is too weak (which is not meant as a slur, just as an observation), and Israel has had enough.

But "Bush, Blair: Candid, open, uncensored" is apprently THE story. It might be for the Democratic Underground, but, not for the real news.

Or at least not till Katie C. turns the cBS evening news into the cBS Entertainment News.

More: Remember when Kerry let loose on the Secret Service agent?

While snowboarding in Ketchum, Idaho, Senator Kerry was knocked over by one of the Secret Service men assigned to protect him. According to The New York Times, "Mr. Kerry [was] taken out by one of the Secret Service men, who had inadvertently moved into his path, sending him into the snow." A reporter and camera crew, who were following on skis, witnessed the collision but did not capture it on film.

When asked about the crash, the Senator said, "I don't fall down. That son-of-a-bitch ran into me." Or "knocked me over," depending on which version you heard.

Somehow, according to the libs I have been discussing this with, it is worse for W to say the S word in relation to Islamic terrorists then for Kerry to say this about an American tasked to protect him. Also, lots of deflections, like "Is Kerry President?" Which should always be followed with "Thank God, no!"

And don't forget Kerry cursing in Rolling Stone. Hillary Clinton cursing at a Secret Service agent (is this a pattern?) Oh, and that wonderful fundraiser that Kerry and Edwards attended with little miss foul mouth Woopi Goldberg, along with other prominent Democrats.

The difference here is that Bush was cursing in private, and about an enemy. The Dems were cursing towards other Americans. Makes one proud, eh?

Oooh, President Bush, an adult said a bad word during a private (ha) conversation with another adult.

It just shows how desperate they are to make sure his poll numbers stay down during a time where they know people will like his show of strength and support for Israel. The spinning has begun but the lefties have even less material to work with than usual.

That’s fine, I’m pretty sure that there are plenty of people out there who thought the same thing I did when I saw the clip “Terrorists are bombing Nazareth and the media is focusing on this???” It just makes them look more desperate and weak than usual.

It is just typical pettiness from the Left.
