How’s That Book Doing, Cindy?

I’m sure we have all heard of the wonderful showing for Cindy’s book signing, though the Surrender Monkey’s and Cindy are trying to spin it in a positive way

Antiwar activist Cindy Sheehan and her book publisher are upset about Associated Press and Reuters photos that allegedly presented a misleading impression of her book signing last weekend in Texas.

Photos of the event, carried widely on the Web, and then picked up by conservative blogs, seemed to imply that the book signing was a bust. The photos showed Sheehan looking dejected, sitting at a table, with no one in the tent except for a couple of photographers. The AP caption simply read: “Anti-war activist CindySheehan waits for people to show up at her book signing near President Bush’s ranch on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005 in Crawford, Texas.”

But in a statement today, Sheehan accused “right-wing” sites of “spreading a false story that nobody bought my book at Camp Casey on Saturday. That is not true, I sold all 100 copies and got writer’s cramp signing them. Photos were taken of me before the people got in line to have me sign the book. We made $2000 for the peace house.”

Followed by more bitching and whining. Either way, 100 copies sold by "America’s Mom" (throwing up, now) is pretty damn pathetic. Neal Boortz was slammed when he was in Greensboro and Fayetteville for his book. Which, well, sells.

But how bad is it for Cindy? Her book is currently ranked at 2295 on the Amazon list. Consider, Ann Coulter’s book "How to Talk to a Liberal (If you Must) is ranked 799. It was released in October 2004. A year old, and still doing considerably better. Michelle Malkin’s "Unhinged" is 254, released about the same time as Cindy’s wacky "take advantage of my dead son who died doing his duty because he wanted to" book.

What next, Cindy? Maybe another arrest is in order to keep your BS going.

Give me Boortz anyday of the week. That man is always right on politcally. One of my favorite pieces that he wrote was “The Dumbing Down Of America”. Cindy has a lot of signing to do to keep up with those that love Boortz.

  2. I listen to Boortz in the AM while doing paperwork and stuff. He really is good. Love when he talks about Cynthia McKinney, that wackjob.
