Riots in France: Not Just For the Slums

The riots are not stopping. They may have mellowed slightly over the past few days, but, they are spreading out

Police in the French city of Lyon have fired tear gas to break up groups of youths who hurled stones and bins hours before a curfew was due to begin.

Police on the city’s famous Place Bellecour square made two arrests in what state news agency AFP says is the first rioting in a major city centre.

Hey, I wonder how the Left would feel if there was a ban on insanalib gatherings? Seems to be ok when France does it.

No, no, you’re not reading the news reports. The current tactic (since about Day #6) is to ignore it. If they don’t report on it, it’s not happening!
