Boy, I loved watching Fox News this Am, with them showing shots of Raleigh, NCSU, and the apartment which Magdy El-Nashar lived in, places I have been. And now, he has been arrested:

Police in Egypt on Friday arrested an Egyptian biochemist who studied in the United States, and authorities investigated a possible link between al-Qaida and the suicide team that carried out the London bombings, officials said.

Magdy el-Nashar, 33, was arrested early Friday, the Egyptian official said, speaking on condition of anonymity because an official announcement of the information had not yet been made. El-Nashar, who studied at North Carolina State and Leeds University, was being interrogated by Egyptian authorities, the official said.

Again, as I said in my previous post on this, there are lots of agricultural products to play with at NCSU, thinks that can be made to go Boom!

PS: do you think the British are going to be particularly concerned with Magdy’s civil rights at this time, or do you think that they are going to bust their humps to find out if there are others involved, whether more attacks could be forthcoming, and any other relevent information? I don’t think they are going to be all that worried about Magdy’s rights, either. He gave them up when he made the bombs.
