Hairy naked butts in the office. Yikers!

Anyhow, at the moment (well, since Saturday), I am wondering if President Bush has done what the nutroots keeps implying, hell, saying, he has done, gone back to the bottle

(CNSNews.com) – President Bush is turning his attention to health care this week — an "urgent priority for our nation," as he described it in his Saturday radio address.

President Bush called for health care reform in his recent State of the Union address; and again on Saturday, he explained his vision of a "vibrant market where individuals can buy their own health insurance."

Noting that health care costs are rising more than twice as fast as wages, President Bush said it's getting harder for "working families" to afford coverage and for small businesses to offer health coverage to their employees.

I read said radio address, and listened to it from that link, on Saturday, and was simply amazed. Annoyed. Appalled. Dismayed. He mentions tax breaks, a "level playing field," and federal grants.

Now, I will not disagree that health care is important, and if there are other ways to provide it with socialism, which is what the Democrats are pushing, great. I hope W realizes that the "NO"acrats will not cooperate.

That said, Bush failed to mention two of the major costs of increasing healthcare prices. Lawsuits, and threat of lawsuits, is one. The other is illegal aliens. Bush has coddled them, and done zero to protect the borders and to stop them from entering our country. He has done little to get them out of our country. And they are a major drain on our health care system. As World Net Daily reported in March, 2005

….the increasing number of illegal aliens coming into the United States is forcing the closure of hospitals, spreading previously vanquished diseases and threatening to destroy America's prized health-care system, says a report in the spring issue of the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons.

One problem is all the babies brought in and those born here. And, illegals are having lots of babies. Those born here immediately get all sorts of citizen benefits. Also

In addition, the report says, "many illegal aliens harbor fatal diseases that American medicine fought and vanquished long ago, such as drug-resistant tuberculosis, malaria, leprosy, plague, polio, dengue, and Chagas disease."

While politicians often mention there are 43 million without health insurance in this country, the report estimates that at least 25 percent of those are illegal immigrants. The figure could be as high as 50 percent.

Not being insured does not mean they don't get medical care.

Under the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act of 1985, hospitals are obligated to treat the uninsured without reimbursement.

I really have no idea what Bush is doing lately. I am having a hard time supporting him. We all knew he was a big government Republic, and weak on illegals, but, he seems to be moving more and more to the Left. I will not drop my support of Operation Iraqi Freedom or the War on Terrorism, but, all his domestic BS? Forget it. He needs to get it together. He wonders why his approval rating is in the toilet. The left may give him a low rating because of Iraq, but Conservatives give them because of his big government and horrible illegal immigration stances.
