Climate Progress Worried That The Pacific Might Cover Miami

Another breathless report by Joe Rommel, who, let’s face it, probably made a mistake. I Own The World highlights it

So how does Think Progress follow-up their condescension about “school children” being smarter than “deniers”?

“Of course, 1000 ppm is also the Pacific Ocean all over Miami Beach, so Miami beach has to go somewhere.”

The Pacific Ocean? THE PACIFIC OCEAN????!!

Morans (IOTW spelled that wrong on purpose)

Well, we’re used to Joe making lots of mistakes. Of course, he changed it without making a note of the change. Fortunately IOTW has a screencap.

Oh, and Joe’s bombshell is that the seas are supposed to rise because the temps may possibly could rise 11 degrees by 2100.

  1. Gumball_Brains says:

The screen caps states that the head honcho over at IEA (.. isnt that the nuclear watchdog group???… or am I confusing them with the modular furniture company???) said that if we keep throwing up “carbon pollution” then by 2100 (less than 90 years now) Boston will have a temperature 11 degrees warmer than today.

Imagine that statement. 11F degree rise in temps over a 90 year period. We haven’t even risen 3F in 250 years.

And, that last highlighted statement absolutely makes no sense to me.

Is it even possible to go from 390ppm to 1000 ppm in 90 years? We’ve gone from 280ppm to 390ppm over the last 100 years now. So……?

MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF INCOHERENT ALARMISM ANYONE?

  2. And yet, despite all their unhinged prognostication, Warmists still refuse to make any changes in their own lives.
