NICE Arrested Over 1,300 Illegals In D.C. Area

Really, there should be zero illegal aliens in our nation’s capital to start with, but, Democrats put illegals ahead of US citizens

ICE quietly arrests jaw dropping number of illegal immigrants in massive DC area operation

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) quietly arrested more than 1,000 illegal immigrants in the Washington, D.C., region in what federal sources said was one of the agency’s most successful operations to date.

Multiple ICE sources told Fox News that the agency arrested 1,328 illegal immigrants over 14 days in the Washington, D.C., suburbs. The arrests took place in Virginia and Maryland, both of which have sanctuary-type policies in place.

Of those arrested, almost 400 illegal immigrants had criminal convictions or pending criminal charges, including a Salvadoran national wanted in Richmond, Virginia, on a murder warrant. Other crimes included rape, sexual assault, kidnapping, DUI, robbery and attempted murder.

Additionally, ICE officers arrested members of the foreign terrorist organizations MS-13 and Tren de Aragua and the 18th Street Gang.

Yes, Democrats will attempt to protect even those illegals. Are all of them hardened criminals? No. But all are unlawfully present in the U.S.

Fairfax prosecutor accused of stonewalling Congressional illegal immigration investigation

In a letter obtained by 7News, Republican Congressmen Jim Jordan and Tom McClintock of the U.S. House Judiciary Committee explained that Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano is withholding information requested by the committee.

Right now, the U.S. House Judiciary Committee is investigating Descano for his alleged preferential treatment toward illegal immigrant defendants and criminals.

7News has covered several cases where Descano’s office has dropped charges or given lenient plea deals to illegal immigrant criminals

For instance, 7News covered how Descano’s office dropped almost every charge that came across their desk involving illegal immigrant Abdul Jalloh, allowing him to walk free despite police warnings. In February 2026, Jalloh was accused of murdering single mother Stephanie Minter at a bus stop.

In a separate case, two illegal immigrant men pleaded guilty to murdering a man in Fairfax County in 2024. They faced up to 40 years in prison. But they are now set to serve only five years behind bars. The reason why the two men will be serving five years behind bars for murder is that Descano’s office offered them a generous plea deal. And both men took it.

Really, the DOJ needs to just charge him with violations of US Code 8/1325.

The world inches toward catastrophic climate events: ‘Bigger shocks are on the way’

In the opening scene of American writer Kim Stanley Robinson’s “The Ministry for the Future,” a heat wave combined with a breakdown of the electrical grid in India kills 20 million people. The devastation causes the world’s nations unite to combat climate change.

Scientists have long warned that the world will experience more intense extreme weather events like heat waves, storms, floods and droughts. But what once seemed like the realm of fiction is now discussed as a possibility, even an inevitability.

The warn, but, they never seem to prognosticate when. Just “in the future”

Warning about an “extreme of extremes” or the “Other Big One,” a play off the California reference of a big future earthquake, can be fraught. After all, nobody can say for sure when a weather catastrophe may happen. But in the last few years, the planetary ingredients needed for a massive disturbance have been building. And alarm is growing.

Oh, so, they’re doomsaying but aren’t actually sure? Just trying to scare people?

“The risk is that people just think you are exaggerating,” said Daniel Swain, a climate scientist with the California Institute for Water Resources. “It’s the ‘Boy Who Cried Wolf’ problem. Sometimes wolves are real. If it’s outside the door, wouldn’t you want to know?”

Sure. When’s the wolf going to be around? Sometime between 1990 and 2100, you say? That margin of error is rather big

Fast-forward: Today, Earth is being heated by massive amounts of greenhouse gases being pumped into the atmosphere, leading to a gradual rise in average global temperature. That increase, 1.44 degrees Celsius (2.59 degrees Fahrenheit) warmer in 2025 compared to the early 1800s, leads to more frequent, and more intense, extreme weather events.

Even if it is 2.59F (which is vastly overestimated from the reality of around 1.6-1.7F since 1850), that’s nothing unusual for a Holocene warm period. Anyhow, it’s a very long and doomy screed, ending with

“We need to be talking about some of the worst things that can happen,” said Tim Lenton, climate science professor at the University of Exeter. “It’s natural to think that some bigger shocks are on the way.”

Y’all have been yammering for 35+ years, and doom is still always around the corner. I might believe it if the biggest believers weren’t complete climahypocrites.

Massachusetts Primary Transgender Debate Could Have Implications For 2028 Democrat Primary

Don’t expect Democrats to have a reasonable position when the primaries start. Or end

Democrats hash out trans rights message in Massachusetts debate

Democrats have another chance to test their messaging about transgender rights that the party has struggled to make plain.

Two Democrats vying for the party’s Massachusetts Senate seat will face off Thursday in their final debate before the state’s Sept. 1 primary. Laws banning transgender women from participating in female sports surfaced as a key difference between Sen. Ed Markey and Rep. Seth Moulton in their debate earlier this month and led to a contentious exchange.

The events represent one of few opportunities for national Democrats to publicly debate an issue Republicans have spent tens of millions of dollars attacking their support in the past several election cycles.

Democrats do not debate: they dictate. Get on the band wagon or get blasted in the face with a volleyball like a girl playing against a gender confused boy

Markey is looking to question Moulton’s commitment to trans rights given his post-2024 election stance that Democrats’ support of trans athletes was out of touch with voters. Moulton at the time cited not wanting his daughters “getting run over on a playing field by a male or formerly male athlete.”

Gallup polling after that election found that 69 percent of U.S. adults — including about four in 10 Democrats — believe that transgender athletes should only be allowed to play on sports teams that match their birth sex.

And rises to near 100% when a gender confused is playing against their own daughter, taking their positions and scholarships. Same with voting age women. It’s not a hard position to also not want penis in female locker rooms, changing rooms, bathrooms, and showers.

Still, Moulton in the Aug. 3 debate apologized for those comments and tried to defend his LGBTQ+ record.

He realized he has to patronize the kooks who run the Democrat party

Lanae Erickson, senior vice president at center-left think tank Third Way, said part of the reason Republicans’ attacks have landed so well is “because Democrats were afraid to talk about” it.

“At this point, every person in America has a viewpoint on transgender participation in sports. It’s incumbent on Democrats to be able to speak about this issue authentically and not evade it,” Erickson said. “In a way that opposes blanket bans, but leaves room for people to have questions about the rules.”

In other words, come up with squishy talking points that patronize the LGBT and kook base folks while attempting to not piss off the voters

“The 2028 race is going to have a lot of pressure to go further left on all the social issues,” she said. “A primary that has 30 Democrats running for president is going to really risk elevating blue sky voices perspective over the rest of the Democratic coalition, and if we haven’t figured out how to talk about these issues by then, we’re going to miscalibrate where most voters are.”

Erickson is just one person, but, she’s not wrong. If this becomes an issue during the primaries, good chance of that, the wackos on the far, far left will push further and further left, which means more of the ones on the left will move their positions further left to satisfy the nutters in the base.

HRC President Kelley Robinson in the statement pointed to the senator’s leadership in several legislative efforts, including the Equality Act, which would explicitly codify certain anti-discrimination protections for LGBTQ+ individuals.

“At a time when equality and freedom are under assault, we need leaders with the courage and conviction to lead — and stand unshakeable in their values,” Robinson said.

For Democrats equality means forcing biological females to accept the gender confused no matter how much it hurts females.

10K Swedes Protest For Climate (scam) Action

Thousands rally in Stockholm over climate crisis weeks ahead of general election

More than 10,000 people marched in Stockholm, the Swedish capital, on Sunday in a protest against human-made climate change, weeks ahead of a 13 September general election where the issue is top among Swedish voters’ concerns.

The protest comes as experts in Sweden and abroad have warned that the government’s climate policy jeopardises the country’s emissions-cutting goals, to reduce CO? emissions from transport by 70 percent from 2010 levels by 2030 and to achieve net-zero emissions by 2045.

Organised by youth and sporting groups, unions, rural associations and rights groups, the rally in the Swedish capital included Sweden’s most famous climate campaigner, Greta Thunberg.

“There is absolutely no party in Sweden who are even proposing politics in line with anything close to what science says will take for us to avoid a climate disaster,” Thunberg said.

Maybe those politicians are reading what the majority of Swedes want, not what a bunch of mostly under-30s want. Also, St. Greta was still wearing her “Hate The Jews” Palestinian Intifada keffiyeh at the climate (retard) protest

According to a Verian opinion poll by the public broadcaster SVT, published on Thursday, Sweden’s centre-left opposition ?currently holds a 10-percentage-point lead over the ruling right-wing coalition

37% of respondents to the poll stated that the election’s top priority was climate change.

The government has argued that the phase-out of fossil fuels must be gradual in order to preserve and strengthen Sweden’s competitiveness and its companies.

That say that, but, most of them do not actually live it. All their phones, clothes, glasses, and more are made from petroleum. How many took fossil fueled trips to the protest? And, at the end of the day, they can say they care, but, voting tends to be different.

They look sane.

Silly Federal Judge Rules Visa Ban For 75 Nations Is Illegal

Trump administration’s 75-country visa ban was illegal, judge rules

A federal judge has struck down a Trump administration ban on issuing immigrant visas to people from 75 countries, saying the policy violated federal immigration law by discriminating on the basis of nationality.

The State Department said earlier this year that it was halting immigrant visas for citizens of Afghanistan, Brazil, Yemen and dozens of other countries because the Trump administration determined people from those nations were likely to need public assistance if they came to the United States.

The policy would have barred the U.S. government from issuing immigrant visas even in cases where consular officers individually assessed applicants and determined they were likely to be self-sufficient in the U.S., according to a ruling Friday by District Judge Jeannette A. Vargas in the Southern District of New York.

“In many ways, this is not a challenging case,” Vargas wrote. The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 prohibits discrimination on the basis of nationality in the issuance of immigrant visas, Vargas said. However, the Trump administration’s policy banned certain people from receiving immigrant visas “based solely on their nationality,” the judge wrote.

With Marco Rubio involved I’m sure that the implemented policy complied with the law, but, with these leftard, unhinged, TDS, federal judges hearing cases you know they already have prejudged search for reasons to back up their beliefs.

“For 75 countries’ worth of families, this decision means a return to fair, case-by-case review, and a chance to be reunited with their loved ones,” said Antionette Dozier, senior attorney for Western Center on Law & Poverty, which represented the Catholic Legal Immigration Network. “No administration gets to override the law because it deems an applicant’s nationality unacceptable.”

Well, first, this will go to an appeals court. Second, the Trump admin will simply slow-walk the implementation in the meantime. Why do Democrats want people from around the world coming to the US and being drains on all our government systems? For one thing, part of getting a work or school visa is that they cannot be on government services. They have to be able to care for themselves. It’s time to stop allowing leeches into the USA.

LA Cultural Heritage Commission Upset Over Planned Anti-Homeless Fence

LA Cultural Heritage Commission Voices Opposition to Fence MacArthur Park

The Los Angeles Cultural Heritage Commission Thursday voiced their concerns over a proposed project to install a fence around MacArthur Park, arguing it would alter a cultural historic monument that has been an open landscape for Angelenos and visitors to enjoy more for than 100 years.

The Cultural Heritage Commission briefly discussed a letter Thursday morning in which they expressed their opposition to the project. The letter was sent to the Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation and its associated board of commissioners, who are overseeing the proposed fencing project.

“While the Commission is sympathetic to the Department of Recreation and Parks’ operational challenges and safety concerns, the commission is apprehensive about the concept of closing off a civic monument to the public,” according to an August 17 letter signed by Cultural Heritage Commission President Barry Milofsky.

“More specifically, the commission questions the appropriateness of the apparent permanency of the fence, as well as the height, proposed to be between 8- and 11-feet at various sections,” the letter continued.

It’s pretty much budgeted for, and they are getting ready for construction. It’s is ironic that the sanctuary city of Los Angeles wants to fence off MacArthur Park to keep all the homeless (that the city does everything to tempt to come to LA) while saying that walls along the border do not work.
