Seriously, was anyone asking for the opinion of fake communist/socialist Roger Waters?
Jack Osbourne slams Roger Waters after Pink Floyd founder insults Ozzy Osbourne
Jack Osbourne has zero tolerance for hateful comments towards his late father, Ozzy Osbourne.
On Tuesday, the 39-year-old took to social media to call out Pink Floyd founder Roger Waters, who seemingly insulted his father during an appearance on “The Independent Ink” last month.
“Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him, in his whatever that state that he was in his whole life,” Waters, 81, said. “We’ll never know, we didn’t, you know? Although he was all over the TV for hundreds of years with his idiocy and nonsense.”
“I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never did,” he added. “I have no interest in biting the heads of chickens or whatever they do. I couldn’t care less, you know.”
Jack responded to Waters’ blunt remarks via his Instagram Stories.
“Hey [Roger Waters], F— you. How pathetic and out of touch you’ve become,” he wrote. “The only way you seem to get attention these days is by vomiting out bulls— in the press. My father always thought you were a c— – thanks for proving him right.”
Roger’s bandmates in Pink Floyd also thought he was a c***.
Roger pretended to be a communist/socialist, and you can hear it in some of the songs (Money, for instance). But, he damned sure wasn’t. He was an insufferable twat, a Jew hater, and a Putin lover. There’s no doubt that he was a fantastic lyrics writer and song composer. But, without Gilmour, Nick Mason, and Rick Wright, he would have been nothing. He’s played with good studio musicians, but, does anyone really remember his solo albums? Do you hear them on the radio? He was a very basic bass player, wouldn’t even belong in the top 200. He was barely a metronome.
Waters forgets that Ozzy wrote a lot of lyrics, and was involved with the music and song composition, both solo and with Black Sabbath. He was also, from all accounts, a nice guy, a funny guy, a good dad. Crazy, but, great guy. He introduced the world to Randy Rhoads and Zakk Wylde. He had huge, talented musicians wanting to play with him. He is revered in the metal community for helping so many up and coming bands, including with his Ozzfests. Ozzy and Judas Priest were huge in doing this. Ozzy was not a miserable douchebag like Waters. Let’s also not forget that it wasn’t Waters singing some of Floyd’s biggest songs. Glimour sang a good chunk of them.
The entire rock world mourned the loss of Ozzy. So many musicians in other styles mourned. Entertainment folks mourned. Media folks. When Roger passes, well, won’t be a lot, except some fans, some Jew/Israel haters, and Putin, with some Russian oligarchs.
PS: I would love to get my hands on one of the true Rany Rhoads’ Concorde guitars.

He wrote some good songs, but he was by all accounts always an idiot. After Final Cut, Waters thought that his leaving the band would be the end of it. It is hard to find anything I would believe as “the real story” because there seem to be several versions of events, but he finally realized that they only people making money on the fight to kill Pink Floyd were the lawyers.
As for his solo work, I had to look to see what the album names were, and I’d never heard of Zee, a band he formed after he left Floyd.
He was a talented jerk. I like his music – some of it anyway – but I’m not sure why he thinks that means I want to listen to his opinion on anything outside of music.
“The entire rock world mourned the loss of Ozzy.”
All he had to do was say nothing, or if asked, say something gracious, and people would have thought him a gentleman.
Instead he denigrated the dead, and a classic band. Not everyone like Black Sabbath. Not everyone likes Pink Floyd. Not everyone has to. That doesn’t mean he need to be an a-hole.
His solo albums have done OK, with the 2017 one doing very well, especially in Europe. But, they are forgettable. Gilmour has fewer, but, they have done much better, and have some really great songs on them. Ozzy’s always sell very, very well.
