Hakeem Jeffries predicts failure for US following strikes against Iran
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries predicted failure for the U.S. in an interview on Monday after the U.S. and Israel carried out strikes against Iran over the weekend.
“The American people want us to focus on making their life better and making their life more affordable; not getting involved in another endless war in the Middle East that is going to end in failure. This administration somehow found the resources, has found billions of dollars for bombs but can’t find any money to actually bring down the high cost of living here in the United States of America,” Jeffries said. (big snip)
CNN’s Bolduan asked the House minority leader if he thought Trump could pull off regime change without boots on the ground.
“No, that’s impossible for him to do. Now, he’s claiming that he’s not going to put U.S. boots on the ground, but he’s claimed a lot of things only to do the exact opposite. This is the same person who said he is coming back to the presidency to get America out of endless wars, and now he has just gotten us into a potential endless war in the Middle East of all places, where we know, based on what happened in Afghanistan, based on what happened in Iraq, based on what happened in Libya, it’s not going to end well for American interests,” he responded.
I don’t remember Hakeem complaining about the hundreds of billions being funneled to Ukraine. Or when Obama get involved in Libya. A nation that was no longer a danger to the US, but, France and England wanted to make sure the oil flowed. Hakeem didn’t complain about involvement in Syria. Or the billions that Obama and Biden gave to Iran. How much money did we piss away on the Green New Deal? Hakeem voted for that, right?
Anyhow, the undercurrent here is that Hakeem, like so many Democrats, does want the US to fail in Iran, simply because Trump is president. This is shades of when Bush 43 was in office. When they started blaming him for 9/11. When they were rooting, quietly, mind you, to lose in Afghanistan. Rooting much more loudly to lose in Iraq. They were incensed by hardcore jihadis being captured and held in black sites and Gitmo. They blasted our military members as collateral to going after Bush. That’s where the Surrender Monkey came from. They called Iraq Vietraq. The wanted to lose.
And it was 100% political, Bush Derangement Syndrome. There was barely a peep when Obama surged troops to Iraq, unlike when Bush did it. All those unhinged “anti-war” groups like Code Pink and ANSWER mostly disappeared when Obama was elected. Now you have Democrats hoping Trump loses in Venezuela and Iran, the latter of which has been an enemy since Jimmy Carter was president. The Iranian govt was horrendous. But, Trump’s president, so, Dems have to root against the USA, much like they do with anything Israel related. They rooted for Hamas. And we get stuff like
Gavin is not alone in still repeating the false blamepoint even long after it has been proven that Iran did it. Because TDS.

Mr Teach really loves this war just as much as the 20 yr war against Afghanistan
Gasoline prices already back to the same as the day Biden left at $3.11 national.
7 of the top 10 states where drivers pay the most yearly cost for gasoline are red states. That Cody is gasoline cost times miles driven. According to Lendingtree.com Wyoming has the highest yearly cost because they drive the most miles at 21000.
Cali tanks #6: high gas prices but low yearly miles driven at 11000.
A.S.S.
I had an office in CA. Seven employees. All had hour long commutes coming and going.
That’s more like 40-50K miles .
I call bull shit.
JL may not realize it but CA has nearly 40,000,000 people which is >>>> 7.
And what percentage of those 40 million people are illegals who should not be counted for the apportionment of congressional seats?
Does anyone else find it odd that the right is supporting a dictatorial autocracy in the United States? Guess the truth is too much for most fascists to handle.
The trait one find so admirable about the Rimjob is his authenticity and logical reasoning.
Amazing how the “dictatorial autocracy” our socialist from St Louis claims exists here has allowed him to publish on a public site, and has not thrown him in the hoosegow.
The very freedom that our good friends on the left use to claim we are a fascist state gives lie to their claims!
Can you smell the cat piss and desperation?
Bwaha! Lolgf Losers!
MAGA47 Motherfucker!
Said the minority leader:
“This is the same person who said he is coming back to the presidency to get America out of endless wars, and now he has just gotten us into a potential endless war in the Middle East of all places, where we know, based on what happened in Afghanistan, based on what happened in Iraq, based on what happened in Libya, it’s not going to end well for American interests,”
So Little Marco and Littler Mike Johnson both admitted that the “immiment threat” posed by Iran was that Netanyahoo told Mad King Donald that Israel was going to invade Iran! Donnie claimed that Iran had intercontinental missiles that would be unleashed on the United States when Israel attacked Iran!!!
“Iran was a week away from having nukes!”
Your King has no clothes.
The families of the dead troops must be relieved.
Funny that Rimjob likes to make up stuff just like Barack Jr.
Little Elwood throws another temper tantrum.
Why? Because his butt buddy Newsom spouted out false propaganda because it fit his narrative. And got called on it.
Jumping to conclusions before all the facts are in. It’s the Liberal way.
Little Marco on why we attacked Iran…

Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., described the recent U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran as a defensive measure, saying, “Israel was determined to act with or without us” following a classified briefing on Monday evening.
Johnson told reporters after the briefing that Israel viewed Iran’s capabilities as an existential threat and was prepared to conduct operations regardless of U.S. participation. He said Israel’s assessment shaped American deliberations, and it was “determined to act in their own defense here, with or without American support.”
The speaker said administration officials had to weigh risks to U.S. forces, regional assets and interests before supporting the operation.

We report, you deride.
We recognize how painful the Mad King’s 180 degree whiplashes are to you. Perhaps one day you trump cultists will take responsibility for what you’ve done. Until then, you’ll continue to avoid the truth and lash out.
Apparently Little Elwood is unable to comprehend that different events require evaluating different sets of facts, and the possibility of different reactions, and that by trying to silo everything under a single universal political theory is the stupid road to madness.
So long as what is being done is to America’s benefit, I don’t really care how the political class justifies it. I’m only upset when what the political class does and tries to justify is when it clearly is NOT to America’s benefit. You know, like most of what the Biden and Obama administrations tried to do.
Little rc claims that war with Iran “is being done to America’s benefit”. But is it?
Other presidents believed that invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq were “being done to America’s benefit”. Were they?
Forgive those of us who don’t “buy” that trump is at all interested in “America’s benefit”.
“Obama confused to see bombs falling on Iran instead of pallets of cash…”

Obama (44) has been out of office since 2017, yet MAGAts are still obsessed with him. You have a bad case of ODS!!
He’s ranked consistently from 10-15th best president. Fat Donnie (45) is ranked as the worst or next to worst!
Ranked by those already consumed by leftist thinking.¹
By those with actual sense, President Trump is very highly rated, while Jimmy Carter, Barack Hussein Obama, and Joe Biden are near the worst.
Our best presidents? Andrew Jackson, Calvin Coolidge, James Madison, Harry Truman.

¹ – Please pardon my use of the oxymoron “liberal thinking.” It is clear that liberals don’t think so much as feel, and feelings do not count as rational thought.
Mr Dana must be careful. He could dislocate his shoulder patting himself on the back!
The formerly estimable Mr Dana is becoming increasingly radicalized as he recognizes the extremism of his Mad King. Proud white christian nationalists such as Mr Dana appreciate that King Donnie is their last great white hope to establish the nirvana they crave. Nearly 40% of U.S. citizens agree with him!
It’s likely that U.S. residents such as Mr Dana fail to see what the majority of Americans see – the rapidly deteriorating trump is in mental free fall. What the MAGAts see is a Jesus-like figure, but one who hates who they hate – foreigners, Muslims, Blacks, LGBTQs, independent women, Hispanics, education, vaccines, scientists…
MAGAtism is a cult. trump’s genius as a sales’man’ is recognizing the trigger points of you, his “victims”.
Did you 30-odd percenters really vote for your King to invade Venezuela and Iran???
Really? The impression that I got was that candidate Trump was “America First” wanting to REDUCE foreign entanglements!
Now we’re in charge of Venezuela, want to take over Cuba/Canada/Greenland, and are at war with Iran at the insistence of Israel.
Do MAGAts interpret this as “America First”?
It appears to us that your devotion is to trump, but not the United States.
Cult.
DJIA is down 4% in two days.
The “Iran” War involves Iran, Israel, Cyprus!, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, the United States, UAE (Dubai), Jordan, Oman… so far. Amazon reports data centers being hit in UAE and Bahrain.
Fossil fuel prices are “skyrocketing” renewables staying dame prices. Most renewable contracts hold dane prices steady for 20 years. Profits are high when their is scarcity.
People didn’t want the USA to lose in Afghanistan
People wanted the USA to stop trying to win a stupid unwinable and unnecessary war. Teach liked that war !
Do many reports of winning!
It was dirt if s long time ago I may have forgotten why again did we invade and occupy Iraq that was Iran’s worst enemy ? Was it the left wing ? Was it a typo error? The countries are spelled almost the same. Was it an auto correct mistake?;did the right-wing first push into both of those wars and now they want #3?
Are we supposed to forget that it is the right-wing of both political parties that start wars ?;
MAGAts have no response other than support for their God-King’s 180 degree reversal on “war”.
You voted for rampant abuse of “illegals” which King Donnie has had to scale back after his thugs and goons executed two U.S. citizens – check. Your King also promised to end diversity, equity and inclusion, which he calls ‘anti-white’ – check. But he promised to end military adventurism – 180 degree reverssal.
Cult.
The administration, casting far and wide to justify their attack on Iran, now claim they had to attack NOW because Iran was trying to assassinate their Cult Leader, King Donald.
Little Marco was forced by his King to walk (run?) back his claim that we had to attack since Israel was preparing to go in with or without us! LOL.
Only your King claims that Iran had reconstituted their nuke program from “oh-bliteration” to being just days away from nucular ICBMs!! Imminent!! LOL.
He claims to have empathy for millions of abused Muslims so he’s bombing them, killing thousands!!
Chaos is trump’s “plan”. Diversion and distraction. Old men diddling pubescent girls is nothing compared to WWIII!!!
Uh, it be different now…

The bombing campaign on Libya was a NATO exercise.
On 17 March 2011, the UN Security Council passed Resolution 1973, by a 10–0 vote with five abstentions from Russia, China, India, Brazil and Germany. The resolution sanctioned the establishment of a no-fly zone and the use of “all means necessary” to protect civilians within Libya. On 19 March, the first act of NATO allies to secure the no-fly zone began when French military jets destroyed Libyan air defences.
The initial coalition members of Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Italy, Norway, Qatar, Spain, UK and US expanded to nineteen states, with later members mostly enforcing the no-fly zone and naval blockade or providing military logistical assistance. The effort was initially led by France and the United Kingdom, with command shared with the United States.
Congress refused to support the mission. The resolution failed 295 to 123, with 70 Democrats joining Republicans in a rebuff to Mr. Obama, who went ahead anyway.
By 22 August 2011, rebel fighters had entered Tripoli. On 20 October 2011, the last heavy fighting of the uprising came to an end in the city of Sirte. The Battle of Sirte was both the last decisive battle and the last one in general of the First Libyan Civil War where Gaddafi was captured and killed by NATO-backed forces on 20 October 2011.
Today, Libya is still somewhat a mess. In March 2022, the House of Representatives ceased recognising the Government of National Unity and proclaimed an alternative government, the Government of National Stability (GNS). Both governments have been functioning simultaneously since then, which has led to dual power in Libya.
Have ANY Repugs pushed back against their God-King on Iran?
Then Benghazi…
