Climate Cultists Jump Into Long Island Sound For Global Boiling

We just had Warmists jumping into the Chesapeake Bay, doing the polar bear plunge. Now we have

SoundWaters’ Super Splash raises climate change awareness in Stamford

Almost 150 people hit the beach in Stamford on Sunday for the inaugural SoundWaters Super Splash.

The waters off Cove Island Park registered just above freezing, but that didn’t stop people from running in for a quick dip.

“My friend reminded me it was only temporary and now I feel like a million bucks,” said Aly Leventhal, a polar plunger.

SoundWaters aims to protect Long Island Sound from the impacts of climate change through research, school trips and beach cleanups.

“Climate change is real, it should be a lot colder today,” said Beth Spitalny, of Westchester.

Should it be? Climatic changes are real, but, it doesn’t mean they are mostly/solely caused by man. Oh, and the seas are rising less than expected during a Holocene warm period.

It’s great that they raised $5,000, but, seriously, why can’t they just do a polar bear plunge for fun like they used to? Why do they have to make this about the climate cult?

Seriously Teach, why do you care what those other people do?
Lol if you wanted to raise money to build a coal fired electric plant by jumping into ice water it really wouldn’t bother me at all !
In fact I would applaud you for doing something for your beliefs

People have been doing this sort of thing for a very long time. Way before Climate change was a thing. A whacky way to show hardiness and then go out drinking with friends.

“climate changes are real” Teach what do you think are the causes for climate change?
3/4s of the Earth is covered by water, is it the urban heat effect that is making that shaft of the hockey stick keep growing? It’s not the Sun because we have risible satellite data since 1970 showing the lower if the Sun (radiance) has been decreasing slightly. Has our orbit changed?

coal fired means that type of thermal plant burns coal to make steam to spin turbines to generate electricity. It is an archaic method, costly and polluting.
