   JORDAN: Can you tell the committee what happened when you took that referral memo, and shared it with one of those agents?

   DURHAM: We interviewed the first supervisor on the Crossfire investigation, the operational person. We showed him the intelligence information. He indicated he had never seen it before. He immediately became emotional, and got up and left the room with his lawyer, spent some time in the hallway, came back.

   JORDAN: He was ticked off, wasn’t he? He was ticked off because this was something he should have had as an agent on the case. This was important information that the director of the FBI kept from the people doing the investigation.

   DURHAM: The information was kept from them.

   In other words, the director of the FBI knowingly withheld evidence pertinent to an FBI investigation.

     Special counsel Durham had the power to compel testimony and indict those rascals but didn’t. Why? Did he think he had no case?

     Durham said there was “substantial evidence” that the Russian government interfered in the 2016 election. He also said special counsel Robert Mueller was a “patriot” whom he had the “highest regard” for.

     The special counsel, however, did not recommend any new charges against individuals or “wholesale changes” about how the FBI handles politically charged investigations, despite strongly criticizing the agency’s behavior and highlighting numerous errors and mishaps by the FBI team that handled the sensitive Trump-Russia probe.

     For years, Trump repeatedly claimed Durham would indict top Democratic politicians and officials from the FBI and DOJ for “treason at the highest level” and for committing the “crime of the century.”

     Durham scrutinized many of the Trump critics that the former president said should be investigated. In Durham’s report, he detailed how his team looked into roughly 30 distinct potential crimes by these figures, but they didn’t find enough evidence to bring any charges.

   Conservative “democracy” in Missouri…

   JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — Missouri voters could decide on whether to restore abortion rights in the state if constitutional amendments made public Thursday make it to the 2024 ballot.

   The proposals would amend Missouri’s Constitution to protect abortion rights and pregnant women, as well as access to birth control.

   MO AG Andy Bailey is blocking this, refusing to certify a collection of 11 fiscal notes compiled by Missouri State Auditor Scott Fitzpatrick associated with 11 initiative petitions that would grant Missourians the right to abortion. In Missouri, before a petition can start collecting 170,000-plus signatures to amend the state’s constitution.

   Cole County Judge Jon Beetem told Bailey to knock it off.

   The House of Representatives voted to censure Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) late Wednesday for his role in the probe of the Trump-Russia hoax.

   Ahead of the vote, Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif) tweeted that Schiff “abused his position as Chair of Intel [Intelligence Committee] to lie and lead America through a national nightmare with the fake Russia collusion narrative. As Speaker, I removed him from the Intel Committee, and now the full House will vote to censure him and open an ethics investigation.”

   In 2017 Donald Trump arrested and prosecuted Air Force veteran Reality Winner for taking a single document describing Russian involvement in the 2016 election. She was denied bail.

   Winner was sentenced to over 5 years in prison. She was transferred to transitional facility in 2021.
