Ah, if it smells like Fascism…

Biden’s Surgeon General Vivek Murthy came out against Joe Rogan and his podcast on Tuesday in a segment with MSNBC. When asked by Mika Brzezinski about The Joe Rogan Experience, which has featured interviews with noted doctors Robert Malone and Peter McCullough, Murthy was unequivocally opposed to Rogan’s being platformed on streaming service Spotify.

    It probably is.

  2. Hairy says:

Yesterday a further 4000 Americans died from covid.
That makes a total of 875000. This was from a disease that most posters here agreed was just “fake news” at thr current rate we will hit 900000 in one week and a million by spring
If a poster smells like stupid he hw was/is/will be stupid

    • david7134 says:

      John,
Your pathos is so impressive, also your stupidity in characterizing the initial statements from Trump, who was being advised by the man that illegally made a bio weapon with our enemies using our tax money. It is horrible that so many have died due directly to medical measures enforced by the government and that the government does not allow doctors to treat our fellow Americans as we do with all other diseases. So I really think that deaths from this disease are attributable to our government, which was put in place by you.

    • L.G.Brandon!, L.G.Brandon! says:

Hairy: “Yesterday a further 4000 Americans died from covid.
That makes a total of 875000.”

If you actually believe that BS statistic which has been refuted by even the CDC itself you’re a fool. BTW, none of us thought it was “fake news” we thought (and still do think) the panic and hysteria were fake news. You guys really have a hard time hearing what we say and print in English. Would we rather do it in your native Russian?

If you actually believe that 875,000 figure how many actually died of Covid instead of with Covid? The best estimates of American physicians is that about 20% died of Covid. The rest died while testing positive for Covid but not sick from it. Big, big difference goober.

Your propensity to see and hear only that which you want and that which agrees with your predetermined view is truly breathtaking. I’ve seen actual noted cults that are more open minded that either you or Dowd.

Let’s go Brandon, you said you would “eliminate Covid” during your campaign and Hairy believed you. Don’t disappoint Hairy, Brandon.

    • Jl says:

Remember, the CDC has said that only 5-6% of that total died from Covid, as opposed to with Covid. That would put the total around 52,000.

    • Dana says:

So, in a nation with over 60% of the population fully vaccinated, we have seen more people die from COVID-19 in the ten months since the vaccines were widely available than we did in the full year before they became widely available. (Some health care workers and people over 70 were able to get the vaccines beginning in December of 2020.)

Yeah, we know, math is racist, but the numbers are the numbers.

  3. Elwood P. Dowd says:

Michelle Obama on short list for SCOTUS.

  4. Elwood P. Dowd says:

Kamala Harris on short list for SCOTUS!

    • Dana says:

Kamala Emhoff is 57 years old, while Michelle Obama is 58. The left will want to go for someone younger, to keep a far-left justice on the Supreme Court for a longer period of time.

If Joe Biden hadn’t promised the post to a black woman, some might have suggested Barack Hussein Obama instead. Former President Howard Taft was once Chief Justice, so putting a former President on the Court is not unprecedented, though nominating Mr Obama to become an Associate Justice rather than Chief Justice might be seen by some as an insult.

  5. L.G.Brandon!, L.G.Brandon! says:

Who’s short list? Not the knee-grow hating KKK loving Brandon’s we assume.

In 2003, Joe Biden Filibustered and Voted Against Nomination of a Black Woman to the Federal Bench TWICE!

The party of slavery, Jim Crow, black lynching, poll taxes, literacy tests, gun permits, colored water fountains, George Wallace, Lester Maddox, black lynching, separate but equal, legal discrimination (and still are), the Great Society (and all the misery it’s causing), the War on Poverty (and all the poverty it’s causing), the deliberate breakdown of the black church, the deliberate breakdown of the black family, black lynching, segregation, and oh yeah, black lynching suddenly has decided NOTHING qualifies a person for the SC other than sex and race. That makes them all out-front racists and sexists.

We propose Candice Owens for the short list.

Let’s go Brandon, you racist, sexist, hateful Democrat Pig.

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

The Property-Owning Evangelical Whyte Male Party (POWEMP; WEMP for short) obviously prefers WEMPs in the courts. What’s new… How can a Black woman be as qualified as a whyte guy, like Bert Kavanagh?

BTW, Leondra Kruger, on the liberal CA Supreme Court, is only 45. Thomas and Alito are in their 70s. And Roberts and Gorsuch are now considered swing votes! Barrett will gradually become Sandra Day O’Connor.

Sheeple such as the odious fascist TG Brenda! pretend that the southern Dems of the 1800s and early 1900s were liberal. Southern conservatives lynched Black Americans, suppressed the Black vote, fought for segregation. Northern conservatives redlined and created neighborhood covenants to segregate Black Americans into slums.

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

BTW, then Senator Biden opposed Janice Rogers Brown, an anti-civil rights libertarian extremist being awarded a federal judgeship.

WEMPs view Blacks as a political commodity.

      • L.G.Brandon!, L.G.Brandon! says:

Sorry Dowd, you dummy. There is nothing extremist about Janice Rogers Brown except she wasn’t a f’n commie. Libertarians by definition are anything but extremists for either side. Unless supporting “Liberty” is something you find extreme. Do you Dowd? Do you find liberty extreme?

You, a Democrat, accuse anybody else of considering a persons race as a political commodity is the absolute height of projection, self unawareness and ignorance. Are you ignorant too, Dowd. We thought you were but that dumb statement proves it.

Every time we read one of Dowd’s erratic, hateful rants we envision him as that little kid from the Hitler youth in “Caberet”, arm out saluting whilst singing “Tomorrow Belongs To Me”.

Let’s go Brandon, panic is setting in on the Dowds and they are getting crazy with the comments.

        • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Sorry Brenda!, you dummkopf. So you feel that any Republican nominee should be accepted? LOL. The Senate advise and consent is a waste of time to you fascists.

Whyte Republicans feel entitled to rule!!

        • LGB wrote:

Why yes, of course he does! The left used to love libertarians, when they thought libertarianism was just about sex, drugs and rock-and-roll.

But then they found out: libertarianism also includes people being able to refuse the vaccines, to assemble freely even when there’s a panicdemic happening, to not wear a mask when Our Betters tell us we must, people being able to hold opinions that the left do not like, and to say them, even publish them, as they chose. The left found out that libertarianism included allowing pro-life people to picket abortion ‘clinics,’ to listen to the sadly-late Rush Limbaugh and Fox News, and even say, out loud! that Bruce Jenner ain’t a chick!

          • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Does Dana oppose the vaccinations required for children in school?

            For the military?

            Child labor laws?

Any and all worker protection regulations?

            Environmental regulations?

          • david7134 says:

            Jeff,
Do you approve the use of a substance called a vaccine that differs from the traditional form and has multiple side effects for use in individuals who would have no problem from a virus that seems to only have significant illness in the elderly.

  6. Elwood P. Dowd says:

GOPhers in Arizona are trying to make certain that GOPhers always win! Besides their typical voter suppression proposals, you know, restrict early voting, restrict mail in voting, eliminate voting machines, they added the Holy Grail of all GOPherDom! The legislature could reject any election they didn’t like!!

The legislature would be empowered to accept or reject election results in legislative, congressional and statewide races. Under the proposed law, the legislature would be required to call itself into session after an election to “review the ballot tabulating process.” Once that review is completed, lawmakers would decide whether to accept or reject the results. If the legislature rejects the results, any qualified voter can go to court to ask a judge to order a new election.

The measure doesn’t require the legislature to have a specific reason to reject an election’s results.

GOPher Rep. John Fillmore, the bill’s author, suggested that it wouldn’t be reasonable to stipulate all the potential reasons why lawmakers might reject election results. And he said the legislature would use that power with discretion.

Besides early voting, the bill also eliminates machine counting.

    • L.G.Brandon!, L.G.Brandon! says:

Dowd, that entire rant is a lie. You know it too. And yet you persist. There’s something about nucommies that makes them perpetual liars. Even when you don’t need to.

Fact is, there is no legitimate reason foe early or late voting and restricting mail in voting to actual registered/alive/ Americans of age without felonies is indeed a necessity. Voter ID is a necessity or we don’t know who is voting. The elimination of harvesting is necessary to curb the volume of illegal votes harvested by Democrat partisan operatives. Or do you thing it’s okay for you guys to continue to stuff ballot boxes?

Unlike Dowd and his commie masters, we in spite of our personal failings retain the ability to feel shame and comprehend right and wrong. The neocommies like Dowd are like the Red Guards in that they are incapable of shame. Did he ever apologize for calling a commenters wife a whore? Of course not because to him she is a whore because she’s married to a white, Christian Trump supporter. No apology needed.

Whether it is ideological fervor or sociopathy, these people like Dowd are incapable of shame because they lack empathy. And they can’t feel shame because shame is a virtue. And they lack all virtue.

Let’s go Brandon, time to scare everybody into booster # 3.

    • Dana says:

      The esteemed Mr Dowd wrote:

Besides early voting, the bill also eliminates machine counting.

Unless we are talking about optical readers which read paper ballots, I would oppose that as well.

We have allowed our tremendous desire to know who won an election, right f(ornicating) now, to create voting machines which could have been tampered with, without leaving any paper trail for a confirming, manual recount.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Three states (Kentucky, Tennessee and Texas) have some jurisdictions with a paper trail and others without.

One state (Louisiana) uses the same equipment throughout the state, with no paper trail.

The other states have paper ballots or a paper trail.

        • Dana says:

The sage from St Louis wrote:

Fortunately, the Bluegrass State is switching to paper ballots with optical readers. When we first arrived here, the voting machines were really pretty bad; since the 2020 election, we’ve gotten the optical readers for paper ballots. This is a good thing.

In the 2020 election, in districts designed by the Democrats who controlled the state House of Representatives, Republicans won 75 out of 100 seats in that body, President Trump won 62% of the votes of Kentuckians, and Senator Mitch McConnell was re-elected by his second largest margin; his only larger margin came in 2004, when he was running against a sacrificial lamb candidate.
