I followed the link “Watts Up With That? notes Germany having to burn more coal for cold weather,” and it’s something that the warmunists on this site ought to read.
Translation: rather than the regular power generated by practical sources, sometimes the sun doesn’t shine quite as much as projected, and the wind doesn’t blow quite as stiffly as hoped. When it’s 3º F and overcast outside, and government has mandated electric heating only, some people might not be so happy when they are depending on solar power generation.
And when Vladimir Vladimirovich decides to cut back on the flow of natural gas to Deutschland in the middle of winter, the lesson will really be driven home!
