Cult Of Climastrology Installs Climate Clock In Manhattan, Counting Down To Doom

What happens when it hits zero and everything is just fine?

How long until it’s too late to save Earth from climate disaster? This clock is counting down.

How long does the world have left to act before an irreversible climate emergency alters human existence as we know it? A new digital clock unveiled in Manhattan’s Union Square over the weekend promises to tell you — down to the very second.

The Climate Clock unveiled by artists Gan Golan and Andrew Boyd warned at 1:30 p.m. Monday that there were 7 years, 101 days, 17 hours, 29 minutes and 22 seconds until Earth’s carbon budget is depleted, based on current emission rates. A total depletion would thrust the world into further turmoil and suffering through more flooding, more wildfires, worsening famine and extensive human displacement, according to the artists.

The display, plastered onto the side of a glass building for Climate Week, shows two numbers. The first, displayed in red, is what the creators refer to as a “deadline.” The timer counts down how long it will take for the world to burn through its carbon budget if swift action isn’t taken to keep warming under 1.5 degrees Celsius.

If Earth’s temperatures increase by 1.5 degrees Celsius, the planet will fall victim to extreme heat waves, fires, droughts and limited water availability, a 2019 NASA report on global climate change warns. Under the Paris agreement, more than 180 countries have pledged to work together to keep Earth’s temperature below a rise of 2 degrees Celsius (3.6 degrees Fahrenheit) — and if possible, 1.5 degrees. (President Trump announced in November that the United States was withdrawing from the climate accord.)

The clock’s second figure, displayed in green, is labeled a “lifeline.” It tracks the percentage of available energy being supplied from renewable sources.

If ifs and buts were candies and nuts, we’d all have a wonderful Christmas. How long will the clock be up? Just for the week? Or a permanent replacement for Metronome, which had been there?

Golan explained that the idea to create a Climate Clock was inspired by the birth of his first child a week before the U.N.’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) “released its devastating report on how little remaining time we had left to make progress on climate change, before the catastrophic effects became irreversible.”

Wait, I thought Warmists said that having children is bad? No? Oh, right, that’s only for black and brown people in Africa and other areas, not the 1st World Climate Cultists.

I like this, because climate realists will now be able to point to the exact date and time that the Cult of Climastrology fully fails.

In this “time of climate crisis” we are producing more food than ever thus feeding more people than ever before. Extreme weather is dropping in intensity and frequency. The same is true with droughts, wild fires and flooding. And exactly 0 (zero) humans have been displaced. And again with the 1.5 degrees of warming from some arbitrary number they pulled out of their ass.

According to my precise ca’culations, that puts Doomsday at 6:29 PM EST on December 30, 2027, based on the 7:22 AM EDT time of the tweet.

Hope it has a good reset button-they’ll be using it often

Come December 30, 2027, Donald Trump will no longer be President of the United States, so who will the left have to blame?
