    The blades can and are being recycled
    Global FiberglassSolutions in Texas is already doing so
    You should always double vhrvk the blogs you hope are correct

      Yes and no. Global Fiberglass Solutions has developed a process to recycle the blades BUT they only have ONE plant, have only produced samples so far, can only handle 6,000 to 7,000 blades per year per plant. Right now the US has about 8,000 blades coming down per year. That number will increase as time goes on. So yes, they can be recycled. And no, they are not being recycled at this time.

      It’s great that someone has developed a way to recycle these things, but at what cost. What’s the carbon footprint? What does it cost to recycle them? What will be the cost to consumers to use these recycled materials? How long before any of these costs are cheap enough to be sustainable as a business?
