(Daily Caller) Taylor Swift showed her support for the “March For Our Lives†gun control protest Saturday with a financial donation and praise for the Parkland students.
“No one should have to go to school in fear of gun violence. Or to a nightclub. Or to a concert. Or to a movie theater. Or to their place of worship,†the 28-year-old singer captioned her Friday post on Instagram. She included a picture promoting the march that was started in response to the school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School that left 17 people dead.
Interestingly, all of those places have been attacked by Islamists. Why are none of these celebs calling for Islamist control? Especially when these same celebs typically have their own armed protection?
“I’ve made a donation to show my support for the students, for the March For Our Lives campaign, for everyone affected by these tragedies, and to support gun reform,†she added. “I’m so moved by the Parkland High School students, faculty, by all families and friends of victims who have spoken out, trying to prevent this from happening again.â€
