(Fox News) Protesters opposing a right-wing gathering in liberal San Francisco claimed victory Saturday when the event was cancelled after city officials walled off a city park — a move that the event’s organizer said was more about silencing his group’s message than preventing a violent clash.
Civic leaders in San Francisco — a cradle of the free speech movement that prides itself on its tolerance — repeatedly voiced concerns that the event organized by Patriot Prayer would lead to a clash with counter-demonstrators.
Joey Gibson, who is Japanese American and leads Patriot Prayer, said his group disavows racism and hatred and wanted to promote dialogue with people who may not share its views. He cancelled a planned rally Saturday at a field under the shadow of the Golden Gate Bridge after he said his members received anonymous threats on social media and feared civic leaders and law enforcement would fail to protect them.
Gibson had already cancelled the event (you can read about Patriot Prayer here and here), due to the threat of violence from Democratic Party voters, yet, SF was hell bent on making sure there would be no event whatsoever by breaking California’s Constitution

- Section 3 (a) Â The people have the right to instruct their representatives, petition government for redress of grievances, and assemble freely to consult for the common good.
That seems pretty clear, does it not? Walling off a park violates the California Constitution.
[Gibson] said Saturday in a phone interview that he felt like San Francisco’s Democratic leaders had shut him down. Earlier in the week, San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee raised concerns that Patriot Prayer would attract hate speech and potential violence. U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi, a fellow Democrat who represents San Francisco, called the planned rally a “white supremacist” event.
“They’re definitely doing a great job of trying to make sure my message doesn’t come out,” Gibson said.
You can almost understand why San Fran would shut the park down: because Democratic Party voters, Nancy Pelosi voters, would show up in masks with implements of violence looking to start something, all because someone else wanted to engage in their California and U.S. Free Speech rights.
According to Gibson, they will be in Berkeley Sunday. We’ll see if Leftists are able to suppress their violence, and whether the police work to keep the Leftists peaceful.

I think we all agree that the government has no right restricting the free speech of white supremacists, BLM, neo-Nazis, antifa, the Ku Klux Klan, Islamic extremists, pro-lifers, sovereign citizens, and pro-choicers, but let’s also agree that the messages of some are so outside social norms that they will be met with stout resistance.
White supremacy, the Klan and Naziism has come and gone and America and Americans will not go back. So yes, anytime Nazis and the Klan show up in public spaces spewing their vile unAmerican hate they will be met by angry counterprotesters and violence is likely.
This is a test for decent society. We often forget that our culture and society control much of our behavior, not laws or edicts. In the balance is whether our culture and society will tolerate the open display of Nazi and Klan symbols. For those too young to remember or too insular to care, the Nazis tortured and murdered many millions of Jews, Poles, gays and Roma to bolster their white christian purity and the Ku Klux Klan terrorized millions of citizens in the name of white protestant purity. IF you believe that the US should be a white christian enclave you are not welcome here.
So the government will not interfere with your swastikas and confederate flag waving, but most of your fellow citizens will disagree loudly. Your employer is likely to object.

We have a president who knows no shame. Who asks advisors if he can pardon himself (Jefferson and Madison didn’t consider that an executive would ever consider such a thing!). Who, unlike every other president and candidate who gave up his/her for-profit businesses, kept his and uses the presidency for financial benefit. Who refuses to release his tax returns. Who equates Nazis and the Klan with those who protest against the Nazis and the Klan. Who criticizes war heroes. Who is decidedly indecent.
We didn’t make laws about these things because we didn’t think it was necessary. Who would think a president would favor Nazis and the Klan over America?

But when the president appears to agree with their objectives and refuses to immediately condemn them as unAmerican, the groups are energized. Under tRump, the Klan and Nazis have been energized. Why did the neo-Nazis, Klan and white supremacists consider that the fake president supported them? They were delighted with their fake president. In fact the only people NOT to recognize that tRump supported the vile Nazis and KKK were hard-core tRump supporters not directly affiliated with the vile groups. tRump aided and comforted the Nazis, KKK and white supremacists.

Some folks here seem to assume that it is a crime not to like a certain group of people. Those groups would include illegal immigrants, Gays, Lesbians, Muslims not properly vetted. The problem here is simply this. It is not against the law to dislike a group for whatever reason you chose to dislike said group.
In America those on the left despise KKK, Neo-nazis, white supremacists for their own reasons. It is not against the law to despise said groups.
So this presents us with a conundrum. What is to become of America if everyone chooses to hate something. For every non American the right chooses to despise the left chooses to hate other Americans for their view point. Yet in this modern day America stirred up by communists forces at work by not only russia but china as well, it has somehow been conflated that anything the right dislikes is a Crime, while anything the left dislikes is perfectly acceptable because as we all know the left has made it evil to dislike anything that they like.

So what we have no is a nation of Leftists who embrace millions of immigrants diluting the assimilation efforts by our nation as a strategy to push back against the one thing that the right has always hung their hat on. So we are left with a dilemna that Trump addressed in the 2016 election. He simply appealed to the nationalism that has been crushed by the left for 20 years. People like this Jeffery work hard at conflating issues to do one simple thing.
That thing is to make nationalism evil, thereby ensuring that no matter what the right chooses to do their every action is evil and should be stamped out. The biggest problem for the left is that they do not even realize they have been indoctrinated into this belief that a nation that loves itself is evil. Yet if you look at every other nation on this planet it has its full share of nationalism. The exception is the EU which is now in total chaos because the communist agents of both Russia and China have spent decades undercutting the very fabric of those societies to the point that anyone who would dare claim a nationalist attitude is pure evil.
