Do Liberals Show Anti-Trumpism Reflexively? Yes

If these college snowflakes are any indication of the rest of Democrat voters, then the opposition, the #Resistance, if you will, is simply Trump Derangement Syndrome

From the article

Throughout the year, Campus Reform has shown how liberal professors and students across America have been quick to oppose the President’s actions—often without understanding important details about them.

Hoping to tease out whether such reflexive opposition to Trump is based on policy disagreements or simply distaste for Trump himself, Campus Reform headed to George Mason University to ask students their opinions about the first 100 days.

Except, the “Trump accomplishments” we referenced were actually all things President Obama had done during his first 100 days in office.

Would they agree with the actions because they were actually liberal policies enacted by President Obama, or would they shoot them down because of their perceived association with Donald Trump?.

You can guess what happened, right?

When disguised as something Donald Trump did, for instance, what did students think of President Obama’s “Apology Tour?”

Why, that’s “dangerous” and “overstepping his bounds,” they cried.

What about Obama’s stimulus package?

When credited to Trump, they found the idea reminiscent of Nazi Germany.

And President Obama’s order to loosen statute of limitation laws to make lawsuits easier?

That’s just a secret ploy to make Trump more money.

Remember, we’ve been told time and time again from Democratic Party voters that they are the Most Informed People, and all you Republicans are just stupid. Yet, this kind of thing crops up again and again. Remember the video of Obama supporters hating his policies when assigned to Romney? There’s more out there from 2012. This happened during the 2008 election, too, where Palin and McCain were blasted for the policies and sayings of Obama and Biden.

Watch the video at Campus Reform.

Even the slightest acquaintance with reality would really help these kiddies.

  2. Jeffery says:

Conversely, Republic Party members criticized President Obama for the same actions they laud trump for.

    Republicans are just stupid

Not true. You are not stupid but rather ignorant about many issues and delusional on many others. You substitute myths and ideology for facts and evidence, but you are not stupid.

  3. Jeffery says:

Of trump’s top 2 dozen policy prescriptions, please name the top 3 that liberals/progressives would typically be inclined to support.

Tax cuts for himself, corporations and the wealthy, adding trillions to the debt with no benefit to the nation as a whole? Dismantling the EPA? Repealing the PPACA? Pimping a nuclear “skirmish” with North Korea? Dragging Mexican families out of their homes and deporting them? Cutting funding for the Arts, Scientific and Medical Research, and Education? Trade wars? Attacks on the free press? Attacks on checks and balances? Attacks on the judiciary? Attacks on the safeguards of democracy? Staffing with white millionaires and billionaires? Nominate SC justices who want to repeal Roe v Wade?

trump may be a total dick, a serial sexual harasser, ignorant, incurious and an unrepentant liar, but the hatred of him by the left results from his policy positions.

trump won the election (while losing the popular vote) and has no idea about governance.

trump could become popular with the left by supporting liberal/progression policy positions.

I prefer that Trump is not popular with the left in anyway. Now as to the rest of your screed, HA, HA, HA. I love it. You have zero insight into what he is doing and can’t understand a bit or the way he is changing the country for the better. Example, his issue with withholding money from the illegal sanctuary cities. No, he can’t do that and any of his lawyers would have told him the same. Instead, the Congress will do it in a few months. So why did he do this? Because Obama did some things along this line and he is replicating the issue. He knew it would hit a liberal judge and that judge would strike it down. That garnered a large number of votes and infuriated conservatives. Then he is taking it to the Supreme Court, so the next ass like Obama that comes along will have his executive powers curtailed. He is using the hate and stupidity of the left to destroy themselves. The rest of what he is doing is GREAT.

Jeffery does his predictable drama Queen rant. “Attacks on the free press., Or to view it from another perspective, “attacks on a freely elected president”. They attack him, he fights back. Get over it. “Trillions to the debt with no benefit to the nation..” You mean just like Obama? Only a liberal would think letting ppl keep more of their own money wouldn’t be a benefit. “Dismantling the EPA.” No one is dismantling the EPA. “Staffing with white millionaires and billionaires.” Too funny-in other words, successful people. How drastic. By the way, what color is the Secretary of HUD? “Pimping a nuclear skirmish with NK.” No, just trying to clean up the mess that Bill Clinton made. “Tax cuts for himself, the wealthy, corporations..” Or to put it properly, cuttting the corporate tax rate to match most of the rest of the world. If there’s going to be a tax cut, mathematically it would favor the wealthy, because the wealthy pay most of the taxes. No different than if there were a cut in the federal gas tax. Would it benefit everyone equally? No, it would benefit those who drive the most. People who rarely drive would see little to any benefit, yet most ppl wouldn’t see that as odd, yet it’s the same dynamics going on when the federal income tax is cut. In other words, it’s hard to get a tax cut when you hardly pay any to begin with. Liberals and Jeffery have a very hard time understanding simple math
