Warmists Very Upset That Trump’s Team Is Chock Full Of Skeptics

Say, I wonder what the carbon footprint of the UK Guardian? Do they use a lot of fossil fuels to deliver their dead tree edition and to gather the news?

Trump’s transition: sceptics guide every agency dealing with climate change

The heads of Donald Trump’s transition teams for Nasa, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of the Interior and the Department of Energy, as well as his nominees to lead the EPA and the Department of the Interior, all question the science of human-caused climate change, in a signal of the president-elect’s determination to embark upon an aggressively pro-fossil fuels agenda.

Trump has assembled a transition team in which at least nine senior members deny basic scientific understanding that the planet is warming due to the burning of carbon and other human activity. These include the transition heads of all the key agencies responsible for either monitoring or dealing with climate change. None of these transition heads have any background in climate science.

Neither does Al Gore, Barack Obama, most of the elected Democrats who yammer on about this, nor, interestingly, the article writer, Oliver Milman. Huh.

Anyhow, if Warmists hate this, I applaud Trump.

The rest of the article is a long whine about these people.

An interesting article revealing that the Trump transition team is not only smart but serious about what these agencies actually accomplish and how.

    And it’s about time.

Not only is that link brilliant but those questions should serve as kind of an outline for every cabinet and department. Thanks drowningpuppies.

    Rev. Hoagie,

Just remember these questions were not for public consumption until someone –probably inside DOE– leaked them to the Wapoo.

My thinking is, because of the brilliance of the Trump transition team, all departments will receive a similar vetting of this type.

    Any thoughts?

    DP and Rev Hoagie,

There is another way of looking at this.

Trump wants to know what happened and who caused it to happen. That’s a view from a businessman’s perspective. New bosses in the private sector don’t accept “this is the policy” until they find out who created the policy and why.

Democrats, liberals and science deniers are used to being protected by many layers of bureaucracy within the government. (As are many people and departments.)

Going “straight to the source” eliminates that protection, requires that people be accountable, and eliminates the waste of dealing with bureaucrats that are more interested in protecting their jobs than sound policy.

It really is a classic difference between people who work in the private sector and get things done vs. people who work in the public sector and say “my job is protected and we need more money.”

Of course the warmists are always upset about something

That’s the view from any rational person’s perspective. Especially when idiot’s are going around stating “97%” of something or a “consensus” of something settles the issue. The issue is settled when they can prove repeatedly what they claim is true. Then it’s no longer the theory of gravity but the Law of Gravity. If David Copperfield can make an Abrams tank disappear before my eyes it’s going to take more than just a “consensus” for me to fork over trillions and cripple my economy over a “theory” that something that may be bad may happen in a hundred years.

New bosses in the private sector don’t accept “this is the policy” until they find out who created the policy and why.

My policy is I don’t give a rats ass about your policy. Especially when I’m paying the freight.

    Wet Pup,

Just like a true business. What’s your function, what are your goals and what are you costing me. Cut the waste and start laying off the non-producers.

  8. Stosh says:

“Then it’s no longer the theory of gravity but the Law of Gravity”

It was a Law of Gravity until Einstein and E=mC2 came along, and is still under discussion until a Universal Field Theory is developed.

    So much for settled science….

    (no offence meant Rev)

New Sec of State Rex Tillerson supports the Paris agreement, and claims to support global efforts on warming. Rex Tillerson is a warmist – or was he lying as a shill for ExxonMobil?

  10. Jeffery says:

Gravity is only a theory and ‘skeptics’ could falsify the theory at any time.

  11. Stosh says:

“Gravity is only a theory and ‘skeptics’ could falsify the theory at any time.”

Until a Unified Field Theory that can stand up to observable real world experiments is written, any competent physicist would agree with that statement.

Whats interesting is that the people over at DOE are now fearing for their jobs because of their political views….as in they OPPOSE Fossil Fuels and are all in on Global Warming…..

    That POLITICAL VIEWPOINT>>>>>COULD>>>>>COST>>>>THEM>>>>>THERE>>>>>>>JOB…..

I wonder how they like it….many of us in bidnesses around the globe have had to go into hiding or use fake names….LIKE ME…because of this SAME FEAR….LOSING YOUR JOB BECAUSE YOU DONT AGREE WITH A POLITICAL POSITION.

  13. Jeffery says:

    Liam,

The government tried to fire you for your beliefs?? That’s outrageous.

How did you hide and how did the fake name thing work in business?
