Woman Who’s Life Is A Fraud Says Republicans Created The “Rigged Election” Myth

This is cute. Senator Elizabeth Warren, who spent her life getting all sorts of perks by claiming to have Native American heritage falsely, now has a funny opinion piece in the Washington Post

Elizabeth Warren: Trump didn’t invent the ‘rigged election’ myth. Republicans did.

Cratering in the polls, besieged by sexual assault allegations and drowning in his own disgusting rhetoric, Donald Trump has been reduced to hollering that November’s election is “rigged” against him. His proof? It looks like he’s going to lose.

Senior Republican leaders are scrambling to distance themselves from this dangerous claim. But Trump’s argument didn’t spring from nowhere. It’s just one more symptom of a long-running effort by Republicans to delegitimize Democratic voters, appointees and leaders. For years, this disease has infected our politics. It cannot be cured until Republican leaders rethink their approach to modern politics.

For years, Republican leaders have pushed the lie that voter fraud is a huge issue. In such states as Kansas and North Carolina , and across the airwaves of right-wing talk radio and Fox News, Republican voters have been fed exaggerated and imagined stories about fraud. Interestingly, all that fraud seems to plague only urban neighborhoods, minority communities, college campuses and other places where large numbers of people might vote for Democrats. The purpose of this manufactured hysteria is obvious: to delegitimize Democratic voters and justify Republican efforts to suppress their votes.

Obviously, Fauxahontas goes on to complain about voter ID, further repeating the Democratic line that Black people are either too stupid or too incompetent to be able to acquire proper ID. The whines go on and on, while she conveniently forgets about the voter intimidation from the Democratic Party supporting New Black Panthers and Occupy Wall Street, among others. We have photos and video of the New Black Panthers standing with clubs in their hands, and Obama’s DOJ shut down the investigation.

She wraps up her whiny screed with

Democrats and Republicans disagree about a lot of issues. We both fight hard to win elections. But winning isn’t everything. Al Gore understood that when he stood down after the 2000 election. Now Republican leaders seem increasingly concerned that when Trump loses, he won’t follow that example. But Trump’s words and deeds are merely the latest — and loudest — examples in a long line of Republican tactics that are poisoning our political system.

Now that’s funny. Democrats have whined about Florida 2000 ever since as the election being stolen. Gore has whine about it. He didn’t stand down: he was forced to stand down by that pesky thing called The Law. Liberals have accused the Supreme Court of rigging that election.

This sent Democrats, in their utter Bush Derangement Syndrome, in apoplexy, and had them yammering on that they knew the 2004 election would be rigged. They went on and on about Diebold voting machines being rigged before the election, and they yammered on about them post election. Years later they were still saying that the election was rigged/stolen for a variety of reasons. They complained about it being rigged/stolen due to exit polls differing from actual vote counts. And it wasn’t just the same old liberal base nutters: you had people like Rep. Dennis Kucinich claiming the election was stolen/rigged. Jesse Jackson. And many others, including the loser, Senator John Kerry, who whined about it years later.

And Democrats continued on with their complaints for the 2006 midterms and 2008 elections.

Elizabeth Warren is simply repeating the Democrat talking points about election rigging, that Republicans are trying to suppress minority turnout and stuff, because, in Democrat World, minorities need to be treated like children who cannot do anything without the helpful hand of Big Daddy Government.

    Teach,

    In the future, Warren should be referred to by her proper injun name;

    POCACUNTUS

    Thanks.

  2. john says:

Teach those new black panthers who were in front of one of 10000 polling places in the USA, do you consider THAT to be significant?
Armed Minutemen allegedly attempted to intimidate Hispanic voters in Arizona in 2006. A November 8, 2006, Austin American-Statesman article reported (from the Nexis database): “In Arizona, Roy Warden, an anti-immigration activist with the Minutemen, and a handful of supporters staked out a Tucson precinct and questioned Hispanic voters at the polls to determine whether they spoke English.” The article continued: “Armed with a 9mm Glock automatic strapped to his side, Warden said he planned to photograph Hispanic voters entering polls in an effort to identify illegal immigrants and felons.”
In another case, in Arizona, the complaint was received by a national civil rights organization regarding events in Pima, Arizona in the 2006 election when three well-known anti-immigrant advocates affiliated with the Minutemen, one of whom was carrying a gun, allegedly intimidated Latino voters at a polling place by approaching several persons, filming them, and advocating and printing voting materials in Spanish.

In that instance, the Department declined to bring any action for alleged voter intimidation, notwithstanding the requests of the complaining parties.
Please note Teach that in the Philly case with the Black Panthers NO ONE complained to the Feds saying that they were intimidated at that polling place.
    http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/08/poll-election-monitor-challengers-vote-laws-watchers-214189
Most of the intimidation has been done against minorities and the party that they want to vote for.The article I cited shows a looooong list of intimidation against minorities.
Fox News has mentioned those New Black Panthers over 100 times, but has NEVER mentioned voter intimidation by the right wing
    Just like you Teach
Failing to speak up and refute Trump’s “rigged” election is wrong Teach. Telling people that elections aren’t fair is wrong Teach and will only help a demagogue to become an authoritative dictator.
Your support of Teach with a wink and a nod will only further help to hurt the GOP. Extremist views on abortion (punish women who have them because it is baby murder) immigration (deport them all and leave millions of young American citizens without parents) only weakens that party on a national level.
When Trump says that there will be “many people who will show up to vote 15 times” YOU should not keep quiet.

  4. o0Nighthawk0o says:

And not one word about Hillary’s constant bleating that Russia is trying to rig the election.

Also not one word about the many current investigations across the country. Some of these aren’t small instances either. For example, Indiana is investigating voter fraud that has now expanded to over 56 counties and will probably increase to the whole state.

  5. the Deplorable acethepug says:

Why, I’m old enough to remember the Dems claiming voter fraud and a stolen election WAAAY back in the Dark Ages of 2000.

Is it a mental disease with the Left? Do they really believe the contradictory things they claim to? Or are they as blatantly and brazenly dishonest and unethical as they appear?

Seriously, I can’t tell if the Left is really this stupid, or if they know better and just assume everyone ELSE is stupid.

  6. Liam Thomas says:

There is absolutely zero doubt that Chicago gave the presidency to JFK in 1960. Hell Daily even bragged about it……thousands of dead voters, dogs, cats and thousands of votes cast repeatedly gave Illinois to JFK and with it the election.

Mayor Daley himself gave away the game on election eve when he said, “With the Democratic organization and the help of a few close friends,” the Democrats would prevail on election day. There is sufficient evidence that the “few close friends” mentioned include Chicago crime boss Sam Giancana–a fact Kallina pretty much ignores. Federal special prosecutor Morris Wexler conducted a quiet inquiry into 1960 Illinois election fraud and the evidence was pervasive. Mayor Richard J. Daley stole Illinois’ 27 Electoral College votes for fellow Democrat John F. Kennedy, denying Richard Nixon the presidency. Kennedy won the state by 8,858 of 4.7 million votes

The left fully believes that Bush stole Florida and denied them the Al Gore Presidency.

Dont simply let facts get in your way John….Voter fraud occurs all over this country…. And in JFK’s case the elction was in fact RIGGED to alter the outcome of the presidential race.

  7. drowningpuppies says:

Hey, retard, regarding your cut and paste job did you read and comprehend the words “allegedly”?

Do you know what that means?

The NBPP were caught on tape intimidating voters, nothing was alleged about it.
Holder simply dismissed the charges against the brothers because…well, you know why.

  8. john says:

JFK ? sure i was old enough to remember that
It was what only 55 years ago. Back in the old days, back when most Blacks were not allowed to vote.
Yes Liam HISTORICALLY there have been rigged elections. Yes Ace the pug (you and Cocker man must be swell friends) Dems dod complain about FL election in 2000
Thousands were unable to cast their votes because of long lines and those hanging chads????
But I am unsure of your point here are you saying now that YES the dems did have good reason to think that election was rigged and so now the GOP also thinks there is a good reason to think that the election can be rigged? Do YOU think that the 2000 election was rigged? If not it is a poor comparison to suggest that now 15 years later it could happen to the GOP
With the polls showing better than a 90% chance of Clinton winning, why would the dems even bother to try and rig an election? That only happens when it is very close.
Trump et.al. saying that the election is rigged weakens faith in democracy. Is that your intent ?

  9. drowningpuppies says:

    Uh, retard…

    Nevermind.

  10. john says:

Federal law Teach says specifically that there can only be an investigation when people state thatt they were intimidated. No one would say that. That part of the law was put in by conservatives to limit the power of the fed to step in.
Voter ID effects more than Blacks. It impacts the elderly in nursing homes. It impacts VETERANShttps://thinkprogress.org/breaking-judge-refuses-to-expand-wisconsin-voter-id-law-to-help-students-and-veterans-vote-224759fcffce#.bxbeq6xuz
It impacts the young (many who unlike those born with (or later obtain) a silver spoon in their mouth. You seem to think that all 18yo Americans have the identification that was so easy for you to obtain. There are about 1/5 million Americans living in nursing homes. How many of them still have a driver’s license?
The fact is when large amounts of Americans vote like in national elections the OP does not do as well as when fewer people vote.

  11. john says:

Cockerman you are a lonely old man who has only a dog for companionship. You are bitter and can look forward to no happiness in your future.

  12. john says:

Now Teach here you are criticizing Dems for whinning about election results, but now saying that because of that it is OK for Trump to do it?
Sooo was it OK for the Dems to complain about it in an extremely close election with many voting irregularities in FL, or not?
Here is one for you: if it is a close one than bitch. if not stfu

  13. drowningpuppies says:

Retard, the other patients at the nervous hospital are waitihg to use the computer.
    Hurry up!

  14. the Deplorable acethepug says:

john, terribly sorry the concept of the thread eludes you. More likely, you are being deliberately obtuse.

You see, the thread is about the audacity of the Left complaining about Trump implying a fixed election, when the Left has engaged in this claim REPEATEDLY. That they do this while doing all they can to stymie attempts to halt voter fraud is even more horrible.

The Left is, as always, monstrously hypocritical, like a certain Senator Obama talking about the unpatriotic concept of raising the Debt Ceiling, which President Obama did without hesitation or concern.

Do feel free to post again, although I really do wish you would take your own advice and STFU.

    Regards,

  15. gitarcarver says:

    It impacts ….

The problem with your whining is that most states that require an ID address the very issues that you say bars people from voting. States will help people in nursing homes get the required ID. The VA will help vets. The list goes on and on.

Sooo was it OK for the Dems to complain about it in an extremely close election with many voting irregularities in FL, or not?

As the “irregularities” you cite were either non-existent or self-inflicted, a case can be made that the complaints were similar to a drunk crashing their car into telephone pole and then blaming the pole for being there.

Don’t let the truth get in the way of your fantasies john.

  16. Rev.Hoagie® says:

Voter ID effects more than Blacks. It impacts the elderly in nursing homes.

The elderly cant get in to nursing homes without ID.

    It impacts VETERANShttps://thinkprogress.org/breaking-judge-refuses-to-expand-wisconsin-voter-id-law-to-help-students-and-veterans-vote-224759fcffce#.bxbeq6xuz

Veterans, like me must have ID to obtain any benefits, so yes they have ID, and if not all they need do is ask…it’s free!

It impacts the young (many who unlike those born with (or later obtain) a silver spoon in their mouth. You seem to think that all 18yo Americans have the identification that was so easy for you to obtain.

You don’t need a silver spoon to get an ID, do you? Lie, lie, lie, exaggerate, exaggerate, exaggerate. Don’t 18YO Americans have feet to walk in and get a ID? Obtaining ID is easy for all Americans and if you don’t see that you are blind and stupid.

There are about 1/5 million Americans living in nursing homes. How many of them still have a driver’s license?

They have ID other than drivers licences or how do they get prescription drugs in the nursing home and how do they pay? And how do they get their Medicare, Social Security? Your ignorance and your willingness to tolerate and permit others to be ignorant also is what is killing America.

The fact is when large amounts of Americans vote like in national elections the OP does not do as well as when fewer people vote.

That’s an old wives tale spread by deniers like you. It only seems like fewer people vote GOP because we don’t accept illegal alien votes or dead people voting.

  17. john says:

Teach you have embarrassed yourself again
The New Black Panthers are on record as supporting Trump http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2016/08/black-panther-leader-praises-trumps-speech-rips-democrat-party-pimped-like-prostitutes-video/

So now that is out how much longer will we be hearing about those New Black Panthers? It seems they and you have similar opinions on things

  18. john says:

OH Noooos !! NBP party hearts Trump

  19. Federal law Teach says specifically that there can only be an investigation when people state thatt they were intimidated.

Wait, you mean someone can only complain legally when a law was broken? OMG!!!!!!!!1!!!

Teach you have embarrassed yourself again….

The only one embarrassed is you, John, since you are unable to comprehend the post. But, then, I doubt you did more than skim.

  20. gitarcarver says:

OH Noooos !! NBP party hearts Trump

Poor john, he can’t read and can’t comprehend.

The Black Panther leader agreed with Trump that the democrats counted on the black vote and then treated blacks badly.

When you look at the demise of large cities with minority populations, that demise has come from liberal policies.

“You put them first and they put you last. ‘Cause you’re a chump. A political chump! … Any time you throw your weight behind a political party that controls two-thirds of the government, and that party can’t keep the promise that it made to you during election time, and you are dumb enough to walk around continuing to identify yourself with that party — you’re not only a chump but you’re a traitor to your race.”

    — Malcolm X to African-American Democrat Voters

I would be panicking if I were you john, because it looks like some of the slaves you keep are running away from the reservation.

  21. drowningpuppies says:

    Better and better…
Yesterday that guy who ran Rent-a-Riot for Hillary supposedly got “fired”…

    Now this;

Robert Creamer — husband of Illinois Rep. Jan Schakowsky — announced his resignation in a statement after conservative activist James O’Keefe released a video under his organization Project Veritas Action, which showed Creamer and other operatives purportedly discussing methods for inciting violence at rallies for the Republican nominee.

    Shocker, I know…

What’s the over/under Donald walks on stage tonight with a shit-eating grin on his face?

The announcement of the charges and Cartwright’s guilty plea came on the same day the FBI released documents that allege the State Department, through Undersecretary of State for Management Patrick F. Kennedy, offered the FBI a “quid pro quo” for altering the classification of documents found on Clinton’s private email server.

Krugman has a big house; the President flies to Paris rather than walk; therefore global warming is a myth!

Senator Warren said once she thought she had Native American heritage, therefore the Democrats commit voter fraud!

In fact, you rarely have anything of substance to add to any post you make, content it seems, to just ridicule others.

  25. Jeffery says:

Republicans may be crooked but they are not stupid. They recognize the writing on the Wall, that magnificent Wall, so their hope is to suppress the majority. The last thing Republicans want is democracy. They can’t win if everyone votes.

They’ve been “working the refs” for over a decade, complaining about the “unfair” media, the liberal professors and the elites.

  26. Jl says:

“The last thing Republicans want is democracy.” What’s the proof of that allegation, J? This should be good for a laugh.

  27. gitarcarver says:

They can’t win if everyone votes.

You’re right. If everyone votes, that means people who can’t vote, aren’t registered, aren’t eligible, etc would be voting. In other words, the only way democrats want to win is if they don’t follow the laws and protect the legal voting rights of American citizens.

    PS:

The last thing Republicans want is democracy.

Being that we live in a republic, a democracy is unConstitutional. Why am I not surprised that Jeffery supports going against the Constitution?

HRC on the other hand should be indicted for so many felony counts that I agree with trump….this should be Bernie Sanders running for the White House not HRC and her band of lawbreaking thugs.

  40. Jeffery says:

Typical fact-free “performance” from TV star Trump. The clumsy Clinton missed some good opportunities to harpoon the sweating, grimacing, sniffling whale.

She could have said they had invested $6 billion in Trump casinos, but were saving trillions in tax write-offs. (State did not lose $6 billion – the IG said $6 billion was at risk from poor paperwork from 2004-2011 – but facts never get in the way of a Trump conservative yarn)

When Trump said America needed him to run America like he ran his businesses, she should have mentioned his 6 bankruptcies. She should have said that America can’t run to its daddy for more money.

Trump didn’t help himself, even though he seemed more prepared than before. He appeared nervous and angry, didn’t sniffle as much, and kept wiping sweat off his upper lip.

  41. Jeffery says:

Clinton landed solid jabs by bringing up Trump’s use of undocumented workers in his business, his shipping of jobs out of America, that undocumented workers pay more taxes than billionaire Trump, that Trump used dumped Chinese steel in his construction.

Trump blamed Clinton for allowing him to avoid taxes, use dumped steel, send jobs overseas etc. She should have enacted laws to force him to be ethical! “Stop me before I kill again!”
