Scroogy Principle Bans Santa Claus, Christmas, Thanksgiving

Vegas odds are running 1-1 that she’s a hardcore liberal, and loves to ruin it for the kids

(NY Post) Santa Claus is banned. The Pledge of Allegiance is no longer recited. “Harvest festival” has replaced Thanksgiving, and “winter celebrations” substitute for Christmas parties.

New principal Eujin Jaela Kim has given PS 169 in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, a politically correct scrub-down, to the dismay of teachers and parents.

If mostly left leaning teachers are dismayed, Ms. Kim must be a real piece of work.

“We definitely can’t say Christmas, nothing with Christmas on it, nothing with Santa,” PTA president Mimi Ferrer said administrators told her. “No angels. We can’t even have a star because it can represent a religious system, like the Star of David.”

Kim, 33, did not return a call or email seeking comment.

A memo last month from assistant principal Jose Chaparro suggested a “harvest festival instead of Thanksgiving or a winter celebration instead of a Christmas party.” He urged staff to “be sensitive of the diversity of our families. Not all children celebrate the same holidays.”

So, instead of being diverse, and using these holidays to be inclusive, the principle just wants to ruin it for everyone. Liberalism in a nutshell: they preach about tolerance, but must eliminate anything that bothers them.

I am sitting in the middle of Germany and attending the Christmas festivals. Never heard of it before, but it is one the the most fantastic experiences ever. No PC, no legal oversight, nothing that we have in our `’free`’ country. You walk down a street that is nothing but decorated booths along the sidewalk with ever concievable item or food that you can think of and most you have never seen. These thing go for miles in all cities and small towns. The crowds are fantastic, it makes you feel like 50’s US. We have lost a consideralbe amount with people like john and jeff ruling our lives. `Oh, jeff, I am paying for it with social security.

Santa Claus is banned, yet the kids get off for Christmas. We’ll ban the secular ritual, but allow for the religious one. This air-head doesn’t quite know what she’s doing, as if that were ever in question.

“Principle” is only a noun that means commonly accepted rule, law, doctrine or law of nature, etc. e.g., “The Earth is warming based on the greenhouse principle.” “Science Deniers have few principles.”

“Principal” is used for everything else. e.g., as a noun: “The principal of the school is stupid.” “You pay interest on the principal of the loan.” and as an adjective: “Burning fossil fuels is the principal cause of the increase in atmospheric CO2.”

or to put it all in one sentence: “The principal explained that the greenhouse principle is the principal driving force of global warming.”

The story was mostly false anyway. You’re creeping closer and closer to Gateway Pundendum territory.
