Warmists Calls Droughts, Temperatures, Forest Fires “Climatological Events”

Things that apparently never happened before fossil fuels. This comes via The Economist

In May India was struck by a deadly heatwave. Temperatures as high as 47°C caused 2,200 deaths. This week a heatwave in Pakistan claimed the lives of hundreds more. As the chart shows, the number of extreme weather- and climate-related events is rising. Serious storms have more than doubled in frequency since the early 1980s. Floods and heatwaves have more than tripled. The human consequences may be serious. A study published this week by the Lancet Commission on Health and Climate Change suggests that previous estimates of the future effect of global warming on health, made by the World Health Organisation and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, are underestimates because they failed to take into account vulnerabilities caused by ageing, migration and population growth.

So, future doom. Same old same old.

The people who will be the most affected by climate change are those that are already the most vulnerable.
They are mostly black and brown people. White people especially Americans will not be as hurt
Climate change will not effect me personally nor will it be much more than a blip on his electric bill to Teach

Say are your McCain_Palin bumper stickers still availablr? I see a potential mini boom after Bristol’s latest misadventure

Its the assumed close. These people are salesmen.

They actually depend on the stupidity of the VOTERS to buy what they are selling.

If you just talk as if its the truth…then a lie told often enough is the truth.

The earth is warming….co2 is rising ergo co2 is the culprit……forget that we have had nearly 20 years of non stop el Nino’s which throw humongous amounts of heat into the atmosphere…..

Of course Co2 is causing El Nino….if it shifts to la Nina then its co2. If the sun explodes it will be because of fossil fuels.

I really dont care if we burn another drop of oil……If this was an honest attempt at bringing new technology online I would be all in……..

but we deniers know its about destroying capitalism….they have nothing to replace fossil fuels…at all…..period……..

Never the less…..the earths warming co2 is rising….ergo its fossil fuels……

One thing progressives can rely on….and that is…….

Ignorance of the voter is their most powerful tool.

Gallup finds only 36% believe climate change will seriously affect their lives.

Poll after poll shows one over riding factor that Saul Alinsky warned his followers about…….

    * RULE 7: “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.” Don’t become old news. (Even radical activists get bored. So to keep them excited and involved, organizers are constantly coming up with new tactics.)

People are tired of hearing about were all gonna die and we need to turn off our A/C when its a 100 degrees outside. No more Ice for you.

The AGW’s tactic has worn out its welcome…thats why the IPCC is now trying a new bait and switch…..MANAGING GLOBAL WARMING.

A legitimate skeptic could question whether their data packages serve to enhance their profit centers.

Specifically, they suggest that the warming Arctic contributes to changing long-term patterns of the jet streams that change long-term weather patterns in places like California, the Northeast US, India, Russia, Europe, etc.
