Jim McGinnis, a member of the Ashland Conservation Commission and a climate change specialist with the U.S. Forest Service, said the nation’s increasing gross national product and consumption cannot be sustained in the long term.
“The standard of living must level off,” said McGinnis, a lecturer with Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project. “This country consumes five Earths, while India consumes one-tenth of an Earth.” An “Earth,” he explained, is the level of human consumption that can be sustained by a population year-to-year.
Obviously, what he means is that Other People’s standard of living must level off. The alarmists do actually want to drag the world (well, everyone else in the world but themselves) back to the 1400’s.
Let’s play their game… so, they want us to decrease food stamps, eliminate school lunches for grandkids, kick people out of old-folks homes, eliminate funding for the mentally ill, prevent old people from getting much needed medical care, and forcing senior citizens to choose between old putrid dog food and medicine.
Without our high standard of living, we could not produce as much income to sustain the Socialist Welfare programs. If we were to reduce our standard of living to that of India….

Ask any progressive. America is a CONSUMER DRIVEN FREE MARKET…..not a true free market.
They MUST STOP this consumerism. They hate it. They despise it and at the root of it is their FEAR of watching too many movies in which we are all standing around starving to death because we have CONSUMED everything.
If we can just stop consumption….all will be well with the world.

It is called transference of wealth to the poor and less fortunate using OPM, other people’s money so we can all live like Mao wanted the chinese to live in the same hut and wear the same gray togs.
