I’d like to say I went and saw Barack Hussein Obama here in Raleigh today, but, unfortunately, Real Life in the form of closing one of our stores down (no, not the economy, it was in a location that became poor, our lease was ending, and we got broken into for about the 8th time in the last 5 years). Oh, well. I would have liked to see all the SUVs, BMW’s, Mercedes, etc. in the parking lot, highlighting how poorly the economy is doing
(Raleigh N&O) A debate Wednesday night that focused on Sen. Barack Obama’s potential vulnerabilities was an example of outmoded political “gotcha” games, Obama told a Raleigh audience today.
“That was the rollout of the Republican campaign against me in November,” Obama said during a “town hall” meeting at the State Fairgrounds.
“They will try to focus on all these issues that don’t have anything to do with how you are paying your bills at the end of the month.”
Obama spoke as if he had already won the Democratic nomination, telling the crowd he would respond with force to Republican attacks. “If the Republicans come at me, I will come right back at them, and I will come at them hard,” he said.
Excuse me, Senator Messiah, but, last night was Democrats coming after you. If you are not aware that it was a Democrat debate, then you really have no business being an elected dog catcher, much less president.
Furthermore, of course he decries gotcha politics. His ass got nailed to the wall during Wednesday nights debate, and he really did look like the complete federal politics neophyte and lightweight he really is.
“I’ll be honest with you. It’s a little harder to do with a fellow Democrat, because I’m trying to show some restraint. I won’t have as much restraint with the Republicans.”
What happened to Mr. “I’m a different type of politician?”
Obama said today that people are tired of negative politics and deserved more discussion of issues such as the war in Iraq, the economy and health care.
In other words, he is tired of people discussing the things that highlight his true character during a campaign that is all about his character. This is what is called a #6 on the 8 Stages Of Liberal/Progressive Discussion When Busted.
The Messiah also said, in no uncertain terms, that he would end Operation Iraq Freedom in 2009. Period.
