Whew! Illegals To Move To NY State

And overload their support services, such as medical, welfare, police, fire, etc and so on. I hope all those illegals planning on coming to North Carolina have read this

They were celebrating outside the governor’s office Friday as Eliot Spitzer handed a landmark victory to a half-million illegal immigrants.

The state will no longer require proof of citizenship for driver’s licenses.

"We’re changing our policy with respect to getting more people out of shadows and into the system so people don’t hide they’re here," Spitzer said.

Into the system? In case it has eluded this cluebat, they should not be in the country, much less the system.

He said the current restrictions on non-citizens have filled the roads with unlicensed drivers five times more likely to get into accidents.

And having a plastic card will reduce the accidents? Cluebat!

But the also called it a matter of justice.

"As long as I’m governor we won’t pretend they don’t exist, cut them off from society," Spitzer said.

But, as long as you are governor, you will not uphold the law regarding them being here illegally, eh?

    On Illegal Benefits…

New York will now allow illegals to have driver’s licenses. Hopefully, being licensed will mean it will be easier for them to get car insurance. Which insurance would make it easier to collect damages when one of them destroys your car or you in …

Poor poor mexicans. 20 yrs ago I was married to a mexican national in Mexico City, having a legal visa to stay there. She had a sandwich stand without running water so I brought some bottles to the business. In delivering this water I was approached by 2 men from the Dept of Transito (motor Vehicles) and acused of working in Mexico and threatened with deportation (thumb gesture). Carrying a bottle of water is working? Oh I forgot to mention that my vehicle was a licensed Calif. P.U. This is what caught their attention. Now to N.Y. All these illeagals enter the US without proper papers,.and then demand American rights which are afforded those who are born here or have a legal green card. Many Americans are not familier with Mexican laws. They are permitted to commit crimes, what we call misdemeaners and some felonys with a slap on the wrist. They do not have to many prisons as half the country would be jail for stealing. This is my observation after spending over 14 yrs in Mexico. As a whole, I like Mexico, unfortunately, I cannot say the same for some of its people. There are good and bad in any country. One more thing. Mexico City impliemented a 20% reduction in traffic weekdays, using the last 2 digets on the license plate each day of the week reducing traffic problems. Equate this to removing 20% of the illegal population and you will see a vast improvement (reduction) of free medical, accidents, traffic flow and all related situations. This has been lengthy for me but I just had to give my imput to the reality of NY problems. Sanctions, driver license, and recognizing all those who entered the US with fraud intentions is a slap in the face to all the many people who filled out papers and waited yrs to get a green card. I was one of those people back in 1946-1948. Served in military in Korea in combat with a green card. Today there is approximately 55000 with green cards serving in US military putting their true faith in the United States of America.

  4. I have no problem with people coming to this country legally, and applying for green cards (other then many refuse to learn English, then get ticked off when I do not speak Spanish, plus those that overstay their visas.) I’m all for it. If they want to come work, great! Just not illegally.

I am back again on this drivers license kick. John Edwards has poor logic. At one time he supported licenses for illegals. Now he says quote “any illegal who gets on the path to citizenship should be permitted to obtain a license”. Now just a cotton pikin minute. There are many people in other countrys who are waiting in line legally for permission to enter the US. Why should all of those who came across the border illegally be allowed to get in front of the line starting with a drivers license . Personally, I do not support this idea. Okay, if implemented against the majority wishes of the NY population, then make it a PINK LICENSE that will show that they are here illegally and not entitled to VOTE, get on a PLANE, no FREE Social Welfare and any other services available to AMERICAN CITIZENS.
