Sorta Blogless Sunday Pinup

And a Happy Sunday to all. No clue who did this pinup, haven’t been able to find it again. Sigh.

Did you know that on this day in history, the Great Seal of the United States was used for the first time in 1782?

Quote for the day: The minute you settle for less than you deserve, you get even less than you settled for. Maureen Dowd (yes, the Mo Do!)

Thought of the day: the Left complains about “civilian deaths.” Why? Do you realize that the “greatest generation” fought in a war that left 62 million dead, and about 37 million were civilians? Of course, 12 million were part of the Holocaust.

The point is that civilian deaths, while regetable, occur during wars. Why? Many reasons, but a large one is their being part of an enemy country. The US used nukes on Japan, as well as bombing Tokyo. We were part of the Allied bombing back to the stone age of Dresden. And lots of other cities. And, that was part of war. I do not assign any negativity to those actions. Do you?
