Sheeeeee’s Back! John Fonda Jane Kerry will be touring the country (the USA, not Vietnam), reliving her glory days of spitting on US troops, though this time, it is over Iraq:
Actress and activist Jane Fonda says she intends to take a cross-country bus tour to call for an end to U.S. military operations in Iraq.
"I can’t go into any detail except to say that it’s going to be pretty exciting," she said. "It feels so good to be doing all those anti war things, spitting on troops, calling them baby killers. I cannot wait to hear what happens to the troops that have been captured. I so enjoy a good beheading of an American soldier."
Ok, so I added those last 3 sentances. But, in essence, that is what her ideals add up to. Undercutting US policy, weakening our stances, demeaning US troops. Why?
They plan to return to the Santa Fe area, where she was promoting her book, "My Life So Far" on Saturday.
So she is going to revist her Vietnam days, and all the attrocities against American troops that she herself caused, to promote her book? But she has decided that "she is coming out" in her opposition to the Iraq War. Funny on the timing, isn’t it? Like we didn’t know where she stood.

Can you please tell me which war you fought in?
You’re really pathetic. Vietnam as history shows was a mistake. Although her actions in Hanoi may not of been exactly right; her heart was in the right place. Since when does the greatest democratic country in the world oppose freedom and non aggression? Since when does a country, via its press, condemn a person who has the right to speak his or her mind. Your job is to report the news. Not take sides. What is becoming of the greatest nation on Earth? Freedom of speech is the most important right we have. Vietnam was wrong, Iraq is wrong, and the statistics show it. I don’t much in the surveys since the sentences used are ambiguous. But look at the facts: the military cannot meet its quota anymore. That’s been happening for months now. That speaks for itself. Many will not volunteer for a conflict that was perpetrated by Bush. Second; we have 100,000 civilian, mercenaries in Iraq. Not military, but civilians providing the services that our military would normally do. This was never intended to be a war. It was all economics as was Vietnam. There is no domino effect in foreign policy here. Rather, we as a country have become the most hated nation in the world. Think about that and smoke that in your pipe. We need to change, and change fast.
Actually, JR, my job is not to report the news. I make no bones about often imparting a right of center spin on most subjects, and I make no apologies for it.
Jane is more then welcome to do her thing. I respect her Freedom to do that, if not her motives. But, I am also free to decry what she is doing, and to take shots at her for doing it. Not that she will ever read about it or hear about my little spot on the web.
What will her little tour accomplish? To sell more books? Others may see it a different way, but that is my take.
What atrocities did she cause exactly? I didn’t think she actually fired those AA guns she posed with, although that would have been interesting to see.
