Maggie’s Farm has some interesting links. Like the story on Canada’s only desert. I didn’t know that. Of course, they make it a threatened place because of the certain coming of climate change. Wouldnt more climate change mean more desert, thus reinforcing this zone? They also make it sound like an isolated ecosystem, but a quick look at a map shows that it is simply the northern tip of Washington state’s eastern desert. So it’s isolated by virtue of a political border. Interesting.
