Does Obama’s National Defense Resources Preparedness Order Allow Unfettered Control?

Here is what The Examiners Kenneth Schortgen Jr has to say on the subject

On March 16th, President Obama signed a new Executive Order which expands upon a prior order issued in 1950 for Disaster Preparedness, and gives the office of the President complete control over all the resources in the United States in times of war or emergency.

The National Defense Resources Preparedness order gives the Executive Branch the power to control and allocate energy, production, transportation, food, and even water resources by decree under the auspices of national defense and national security.  The order is not limited to wartime implementation, as one of the order’s functions includes the command and control of resources in peacetime determinations.

The Obama administration appears to be preparing for a long drawn out war in the Middle East, or at the very least, an expected crisis that will require the need to override Constitutional authority and claim dominion over all resources in the United States under the guise of national defense.  With the rise in Disaster Preparedness growing for both individuals and states leading up to yesterday’s Executive Order, the mood of the nation points strongly towards some event or disaster that will require massive preparations on a national as well as local scale.

Protein Wisdom says this could be nothing unusual, but, wonders about the president giving the Executive branch these powers during peacetime. Could this EO be just a routine update, or something else? It’s hard to tell, and I’d like to give Obama the benefit of the doubt: I’d hate to think that he would be that stupid, and power hungry, to implement a massive takeover of private industry (hint: oil and energy sources) during domestic peacetime in this manner. He seems to prefer other ways, like Obamacare.

There are lots of questions to be asked. Israpundit has a few, and check out the comment. Atlas Shrugs points out that it calls for a uncompensated civilian draft. I Own The World says you should read it slowly. Good advice. I read it quickly, but, I am going back through it word by word.

The big question is “does this really mean something, is it simply updated rules, or, is this an attempt to create yet another issue to deflect from Obama’s pitiful record?” Time will tell.

I’d just like to point out the link from unhinged Thoughts and Rantings, the proprietor who is “festering parasite“, as Zilla termed him. I should probably delete the link, but hey, go over and annoy him. I can tell that he didn’t even bother reading the post, and simply assumed that was going all “Excitable Teach” over it. I didn’t mention it at the time, wasn’t worth it, but, this chump blocked me because he is a major league pussy. He had a post up with the headline “Ron Paul Is Right” with a video. No explanation. So, I simply asked “Why is he right?” Patrick, also known by many names, including “Detroit Right”, went on an unhinged tear worthy of Charles Johnson, and not only banned me from commenting, he banned my IP. Hey, loser, ever heard of using a proxy IP? Or smartphones? Loser. Whatever he wants to call himself, he is one if the biggest fucktards on the Internet. He has a pitiful little oh woe is me message for the IP ban. Whatever.

But, hey, Detroit, you’re welcome to comment here, if you have the balls to show your face. I’m not a momma’s boy pussy who gets the vapors when someone asks me a question. I know you like going around to other sites and spewing your hatred. But, then again, like at all the other sites, the folks here would tear you apart and send you crying back to your mother’s basement.

The bloated festering parasite also quotes Chucky Johnson and links to him as if he were a legitimate source for anything besides unhinged douchebaggery – especially when the bloated festering parasite makes derogatory remarks about Stacy McCain, who the bloated festering parasite has some sort of sick obsession with (and who the bloated festering parasite has made public death threats against).

Quite true. He’s a sad excuse for a human being, and I use that term loosely in his case.

I think this also says they (our new corporate dictating govt) have the right to build nuclear power plants anywhere they like whether you want one or not, if they think there is an energy shortage. . . and they can also at the same time stop any alternative power builders from selling private contracts – even in peacetime, .. hmmmm, . . .any stock market gamblers here,. . . I think this is about money, . . and excuses to build things, . . and corporate advantage
