FBI Raids Solyndra

Damn, I guess this was breaking news from earlier, as the FBI has raided Solyndra

FBI agents served search warrants this morning at Solyndra, the Fremont solar company that abruptly closed last week, two years after receiving more than $500 million in federal stimulus money, an agency official said.

The search is part of a joint investigation involving the FBI and the Department of Energy’s Office of Inspector General, said FBI spokeswoman Julianne Sohn, who declined to elaborate. An Energy Department spokesman also confirmed the investigation but declined comment.

Just remember, this is the kind of stimulus we’ll probably hear tonight from President One Trick Pony.

Of course, by “we’ll hear,” I mean someone else, as I’ll. Be watching the pregame. I have no need to listen to the same old rambling train wreck of an “I’m smarter than everyone else, I know better, and if you disagree with me your unpatriotic” speech we’ve heard again and again.

Judge Ice Cream on FoxNews said earlier the troubling thing about this raid is that there doesn’t appear to be any purpose to it. It just seems the FBI is raiding the company to get papers the company needs for bankruptcy proceedings.

It is very troubling that no one is saying what the search warrant was based upon.

Given what happened to Gibson guitars, this is another example of the “most transparent administration ever” doing things out of the light of scrutiny.

    LOL GC. (ice cream… hhahahaa)

Yeah, the FBI raids of late are very suspicious. From ICE raiding internet providers to FBI raiding guitar-makers, this whole administration is suspect.

Have we heard anything from that foul illegal raid of the vet who was shot in his house in AZ?

Will Obama use the FBI to force businesses to hire illegals by raiding them when they refuse or report illegals?

  3. You just have to wonder if the raid was done in order to protect information about their business practices from getting into the public domain. I’d hate to think that about the FBI, but, you never know what this administration will do.

How long did it take to find out about Clinton’s dirty dealings?!? How much was covered over even when found out.

But, I agree. Sounds like use of police force to cover up illegal federal spending. And, it could even be local rep calling them in.

You guys are scaring me here! If our liberties are at such great risk, (and I include all businesses in this “our” since I have a stake in my daughter’s flower shop) we are in grave danger. I pray we get this president out of office before more harm is done. I know that it will be another almost two years before we can be assured, but I am planning on doing everything I can to make someone else our president!

As it has been said by others, Elmer Fudd and Daffy Duck could run the country better.

Heck, give me Lou Holtz. You hear his rousing victory for USA re: 9/11 speech on ESPN last night?!!? He listed 5 things he was thankful for and thankful to be playing football for on the first game after 9/11…… and none of them involved the government.

    Please watch the video.

    POTUS Elmer Fudd…catchy!
    But Daffy is already VP…

  8. gitarcarver says:

Sorry Cap’n, I will not listen to Holtz.

    Ever.

Holtz was a dirty coach in that when different schools, 4 of the 6 he left were found to have had NCAA violations that occurred on his watch.

Holtz never left a school in better shape than when he arrived.

I don’t listen to liars and cheats.

  9. captainfish says:

hmmm. never heard of it. do you have any more info on the violations and charges?
