Full list of Democrats urging Trump admin to protect Gaza flotilla
Nearly 20 Democratic members of Congress are asking President Donald Trump to protect the Global Sumud Flotilla, which aims to deliver aid to Gaza.
Newsweek reached out to the office of Rashida Tlaib, the Michigan Democrat leading the letter, and the State Department for comment via email. (snip)
Tlaib and 18 other Congressional Democrats urged the Trump administration to take action to protect the flotilla. The letter comes as Democrats remain divided about how the government should approach the conflict. Many progressive Democrats have called for limits on Israel aid amid the ongoing conflict, while more moderate Democrats have generally been more supportive of Israel. (snip)
Tlaib and the other Congressional Democrats urged the Trump administration to “do everything in your power to ensure the safety of the flotilla and its unarmed, civilian passengers” while also addressing the “issue at the root of the voyage.”
“The law is clear: any attack on the Global Sumud Flotilla or its civilians is a clear and blatant violation of international law. The United States has an obligation to protect its citizens from foreign attack,” the letter reads. “We call on you to deter any further hostile actions against the flotilla and ensure the successful completion of its humanitarian mission.”
Yeah, well, enter the waters of a foreign nation without permission and you get what’s coming to you. If it’s like last time, they get a sandwich, a hearty fair thee well, and a fossil fueled plane ride home

Jew-Hating Teach smears Greta Thunberg, liberal Dems and the humanitarian flotillas to Gaza. The flotillas have been delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza for at least 15 years. That’s back when Ms Thunberg was a baby. The information comes from the IDF who have lied about their actions in Gaza.
Anyway, Bibi Netanyahu supported Qatar’s funding of Hamas, largely as a counterweight to Fatah-supported Palestinian Authority in the West Bank. In 2019, Netanyahu was quoted in Israeli media explaining that anyone who wants to prevent Palestinian statehood must support strengthening Hamas and preventing cooperation among Palestinian groups. Netanyahu’s gamble didn’t pay off.
Supporting a Palestine state does not make one a Jew-Hater. But if you wear a MAGA cap and slur US Jews as naive and brainwwashed if they vote for Democrats, you likely are.
