Judge Tosses Suit By Bucks County Against Fossil Fuels Companies

I mentioned this suit back in March of 2025. Bucks County is just north of Philly

Bucks County Sues Over Insulin Pricing, But Judge Tosses Suit Over Climate Change

Bucks County last week launched a new lawsuit against big pharma over the price of insulin in the same week that a previous county lawsuit over climate change was tossed. (big snip)

Just days after the county announced the insulin lawsuit, a common pleas court dismissed a lawsuit by the county against fossil fuel companies. That lawsuit, which was filed in March of 2024, claimed that companies including BP, Chevron, ExxonMobil and Shell knew about the harms that petroleum products can cause and engaged in misinformation to mislead the public. The earlier lawsuit sought damages to cover costs associated with climate change like flooding events.

On Friday, Common Please Judge Stephen Corr ruled that Bucks County lacked the jurisdiction to file the lawsuit, in part because of the interstate nature of the claim.

Too bad the companies didn’t just stop selling to the county. And, since Biden only won with 51.7% of the vote, I wonder how that would go over. Oh, and, again, if there were actually journalists left in the nation they would have asked County Commissioner DiGirolamo and the rest who voted for this if they drive fossil fueled vehicles themselves. If they take air travel. Have natural gas at home. They did try and contact the fossil fuels companies at the time and ask questions. Funny how all the Warmists in these areas suing want money but continue using fossil fuels.

And apparently overlooked by Mr Teach in the Month March for the first time ever renewable energy in the USA provided more electricity than all others. Wind/solar provided about 25% and hydro about 25% wind/solar primarily come from red states and for that a big THANK YOU !

And contrary to candidate tRump’s promise, crude oil production in the U.S. is on the decline! How can that be so? As global crude prices drop it becomes more difficult for U.S. producers to profit.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman runs the globe and also controls global crude oil prices by dictating production via OPEC+. Middle Eastern nations can extract crude oil more easily, and more cheaply, than U.S. producers. Perhaps president tRump could persuade his dear friend, the Crown Prince, to cut OPEC+ production, thus increasing oil prices!!

The energy sources that the U.S. CAN control are our own wind, solar, nuclear, natural gas and hydro!! Congress and the administration oppose these sources.

One of the latest Democrat memes is that It’s All Donald Trump’s Fault for reductions in force at the National Weather Service. They’ve been trying to blame the deaths on our evil, heartless, reich-wing pResident, but I live in the Bluegrass State, and can tell you that we had severe thunderstorm warnings and tornado watches/warnings both the morning and then later that evening; no one who lives here could have been unaware of the actual storms and the tornado potential.

The local television stations as well as the Weather Channel were all over the storms and the warnings.

We hear donald wants to rename the “San Andreas Fault” as the “It’s All Biden’s Fault”.

Yet, even with the warnings, over 2 dozen midwesterners died from the MO and KY tornadoes. Why do the gods hate the South and Midwest???

We had two lawn chairs blown over!!! Eight miles north of here entire neighborhoods were destroyed by a mile wide tornado. We sent it on to our friends in KY. You’re welcome.

We got the thunderbusters, and 2.74″ of rain at the farm, but took no damage here. I had to miss Mass yesterday morning as the road flooded.
