Russia dropped communism in 1991. Right now there are 5 nations who claim to be communist: China, Cuba, Vietnam, Laos and North Korea. Communism ideals will die out under the weight of its own impracticality and importantly, that modern forms of capitalism are better.
It’s the opposite of pure capitalism.

Trump said the US has “devolved” into a communist nation. Now anyone with a brain would understand how that’s an exaggeration or a hyperbole so that would of course exclude you. But if you can’t see how many ways the United states is slowly becoming communistic that’s because you close your eyes and refuse to see. Just look at what lawfare is doing to Trump right now that’s how communists operate.
