Have I been censored from Pirates Cove? My last three postings never appeared.

      Kye,

Make sure your name is associated with the proper email address. Some browsers (we’re looking at you, Microsoft!) form a list of used names and emails and it’s easy to select one with an address not recognized by Teach software.

      • formwiz says:

Is that supposed to be a threat?

        • Elwood P. Dowd says:

My apologies if you misconstrued that as some kind of threat. Was just trying to help.

          After all, it’s a holiday.

BTW, Disney+ is streaming the Broadway musical Hamilton. The touring company shut down due to the pandemic.

The email app chokes up occasionally.

If you get an error message, copy your comment and wait a while.

If not, go through the comment and see if there’s anything (no matter how innocuous) it might find objectionable. Also take a look at length. The app has a buffer and it sometimes helps to break it up into smaller pieces.

      Hope this helps.

CNN eating a little crow… well kinda sorta maybe. https://www.thepiratescove.us/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_scratch.gif

“Much more work needs to be done to elucidate what the final treatment plan should be for Covid-19,” Kalkanis added. “But we feel … that these are critically important results to add to the mix of how we move forward if there’s a second surge, and in relevant other parts of the world. Now we can help people combat this disease and to reduce the mortality rate.”

Zervos said hydroxychloroquine can help interfere with the virus directly and also reduces inflammation.

And, again, the “wave” of new cases is nothing more than another try at rigging the system.

If you have contact with someone who tested positive, you’re now considered positive.

      Same old, same old.

We are lucky to live in the United States of America!

    Be thankful.

Think about this. Most of us are here because of the random luck of our birth! No one can choose their parents. On the other hand, immigrants chose to come here.

In fact, the earlier your ancestors came here, the more removed you are from intentionally choosing to be an American!

    • formwiz says:

No, most of us are here because our forebears had the guts to take a flyer on a new land and leave the old country behind.

      For you, a real accident.

      • Kye says:

I found what was wrong. I had accidentally hit the comma not the dot before com. then I copied and pasted it a few times. Thanks for the tips.

“In fact, the earlier your ancestors came here, the more removed you are from intentionally choosing to be an American!”

That’s one way of looking at it but I look at it like this: I figure my family is 12 generations deep invested into this country. My first ancestor in America came here looking for adventure. Each succeeding generation stayed for their own reasons and they all had the option to leave. IOW, they renewed their desire to be American by staying, working and fighting and creating progeny for America. I know I could have left any time I wanted after all we aren’t communists…..YET!

Happy Independence Day to you all. God Bless America!
