Over 200 famous people have signed a ‘plea’ titled Please, let’s not go back to normal, that calls for ‘radical transformation’ of economies and for humanity to ‘examine what is essential’.
Those who have added their names to the proposal include Madonna, Robert de Niro, Cate Blanchett, Jane Fonda, Marion Cotillard and Monica Bellucci.
Of course, most of these vacuous pointless idiots would not have the wealth, or the platform they are now using to lecture everyday people if they followed their own advice.
“We believe it is unthinkable to “go back to normalâ€, the letter notes, adding “Adjustments are not enough. The problem is systemic.â€
“The ongoing ecological catastrophe is a meta-crisis. Unlike a pandemic… a global ecological collapse will have immeasurable consequences,†it continues.
Of course they are including Hotcoldwetdry in this, despite their own vast usage of fossil fuels to travel around, their megamansions, etc and so on.

Will these people follow their own decrees? Of course they won’t. Tell you what: no one go to their movies, buy their records, etc, because they do not want consumerism, right?

Strange, I can drive over to my local hospital and get tested right now and not even have to get out of my car. In Michigan they had to put hospital employees in the drive up testing line to make it look like they were much busier than they really were for a CBS news story. They only had 2 or 3 real patients in line but that wouldn’t look good for their narrative on national TV.
