House Democrats Vote To Continue Being The Party Of San Francisco Values

I actually thought the Dems might have been on to something, but, apparently they haven’t lost quite enough federal, state, and local elected positions yet

(The Hill)  House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Wednesday fended off a challenge to her long leadership reign, defeating Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio) in a closed-door vote prompted largely by Donald Trump’s unlikely ascension to the White House.

Pelosi got 134 votes to Ryan’s 63 — winning 68 percent of the votes after declaring before the election that she had the support of two-thirds of the caucus. The victory sends a message that while there’s a growing appetite for major changes in the party’s leadership structure and messaging tactics, it’s not strong enough to loosen Pelosi’s grip on a liberal-heavy group that’s rarely challenged her authority.

Ryan and his supporters had argued that the Democrats’ grim performance in this year’s elections — the latest in a string of cycles planting Republicans firmly in the majority — was a clear signal that Pelosi’s leadership strategy has failed to attract the broad coalition of voters required to return the Speaker’s gavel to the Democrats’ hands.

Under Pelosi, they’ll continue to be the party that sneers at folks in the Rust Belt, “flyover country”, whatever you want to call these Middle America areas. They’ll be the party of coastal city elites, dilettantes in the Hamptons, celebrities, and people who demand to live off the backs of he work of other people. They’ll be the party of abortion on demand with zero restrictions allow, of gun grabbing, of forcing people to accept the gender confused in the changing rooms with their daughters. The party of Big Government taking more and more money, and liberty. away from citizens. People have gotten smart, and, while so many agree with the Dems in theory, in practice, they know the policies are bad for their own lives.

The democrats have gone completely insane after being destroyed by Trump. They are so perplexed they don’t know what to do so they voted to “Keep doing the same thing over and over and expect a different answer”. Hahahahaha. They all sound like Jeffery now!

John and Jeffery were always saying BEFORE the election how the democrats were the party of the young and the Patriotic Republican Hero’s were the party of “old white men”.

Thanks Democrats. The party of the young and the multicultural is now led by a 76-year-old white woman and a 66-year-old white man. You can’t make this stuff up.

    UPDATE:
The number two House Democrat? Seventy-seven-year-old white male.

The number two Senate Democrat? Seventy-two-year-old white male.

Countries see rise of populist leaders amid anger over economy, migrant crisis

Its happening all over….Liberalism cloaked in elitism is being rejected all across Europe now as well after seeing what BREXIT did and now TRUMP…the people are finally standing up and saying…..Nationalism aint so bad………

And now the Republicans will finally have the responsibility of governance. Good luck. It’s one thing to vote to repeal the ACA 50 times, it’s another thing to deal with healthcare in the US.

26% of Americans favor a total repeal of the ACA.

Here’s what people favored, across party lines:

—Allowing young adults to stay on a parent’s insurance until age 26.
—No copayments for many preventive services.
—Closing the Medicare prescription drug coverage gap known as the “doughnut hole.”
—Financial help for low- and moderate-income people to pay their insurance premiums.
    — A state option to expand Medicaid to cover more low-income adults.
—Barring insurance companies from denying coverage because of a person’s medical history.
—Increased Medicare payroll taxes for upper-income earners.

Americans favor EXPANDING healthcare coverage. Let’s see how voters respond to the Republican plan to repeal Medicare and replace it with a $100/month “voucher”.

Will the Republicans have the political will to practice their “toughlove” on the American people, weaning them from their “dependence” on the federal government for something as fundamental as healthcare. Or will they cave and accede to the list of popular policies above, put in place by Obama and the Dems?
