DNC Rather Un-enthused To Release Their Own Donor Lists

Since the Citizens United ruling, Democrats have thundered on about the need for sunlight and transparency when it comes to donors. They’ve caterwauled about secret lists of people and companies donating “dark money”, and they want it stopped. They want to force donors to be exposed. Well, not their own donors, of course. Republican donors.

(AP) The host committee for the Democratic National Convention wants to keep its donor list under wraps until after the convention even though a state open records agency has ordered its release.

A Philadelphia 2016 Host Committee lawyer told a judge Thursday the release of fundraising records could harm the organization’s last-minute efforts to seek donations and negotiate vendor contracts.

They always have an excuse as to why their donors should be kept secret while Republicans should be published. Why? Many reasons. One of them is certainly so the individuals, groups, and companies can be targeted in a negative manner by Democrats.

Another is surely that many of the donors are big moneyed individuals and companies, ones that Progressives despise, and the DNC would prefer that their unhinged base not know about this.

Regardless of the reason, the DNC is, as typical, refusing to practice what they preach. Don’t forget, their platform calls for repealing Citizens United, and Hillary wants a Constitutional amendment to kill it. It also calls for the end to dark money. Yet, they won’t even release their donor list when it is required by law. Go figure.

Of course the Repugnants enact policies to benefit them and their donors and expect the Democrats to disarm themselves.

I guess they want the rules that both parties MUST. Obey changed
Do you think the rules should be changed Teach? I do

  3. Hoagie says:

Exactly how would publicizing a list of donors “help” Republicans and hurt demoncrats? And how does both parties releasing a list of donors “disarm” demoncrats? If demoncrats are okay with being endorsed by communists, socialists, fascists, racists, heathens and homos what do the names of a few donors matter? Or would a long list of billionaire, millionaire, Wall Street and big business donors make the liars out to be the hypocrites they are?

Do you think that the Dems should unilaterally stop the black money first ?

The left no longer cares about the rule of law. Which is why they wholeheartedly support Hillary Crooked Clinton.

And this is but one reason main street America is starting to revolt against them.

As they say, if it wasn’t for double standards, the left would have no standards at all.

  6. Jeffery says:

Actually, Republicans pardoned the criminals associated with Iran-Contra.

It was a Republican, James Comey, who chose not to prosecute your next President, Hillary Clinton.

You have a point though, since the Obama administration decided to look the other way over the most significant foreign policy disaster in history, the invasion of Iraq, drumpfted up by Republicans. They also didn’t pursue the charges that the Bush administration (also Republicans) tortured captives. So yes, President Obama also has some ‘splainin’ to do!

Obama didn’t even have the FBI investigate the Bush/Cheney crime family. So the FBI didn’t even have the chance to not charge them!

  7. Hank_M says:

Comey is no longer a Republican, try to keep up.

Then again, you’re still spouting BUSH…BUSH…BUSH…BUSHCHENEY…BUSHCHENEY. It’s like a mental disorder you have.

But none of your nonsense excuses the fact that the DNC, the criminal enterprise masquerading as a political party, refuses to practice what they preach.

  8. Jeffery says:

If you don’t want to discuss facts, don’t. Comey has not been a Republican for less than a month. Big whoop. You keep up, son.

Although there is no evidence to support this contention, and there is plenty of evidence to the contrary, you can’t be as dumb as you appear.

  9. Hank_M says:

Discuss facts with you?? Now that’s funny. LOL funny.

But the fact is that Comey was not a republican when he decided to not prosecute the crook, Hillary Clinton.

And speaking of dumb, the only reason you know that “Comey has not been a Republican for less than a month.” is because I had to correct you.

You seem to fancy yourself intelligent. We’re all waiting to see proof of that.

Lets see, Clinton has a secret meeting with the AG that turns out to be seen by a reporter, then the FBI issues a statement with a prelude that would put any one else in jail for 20 years, but Hillary gets a pass. And, the response by Lynch definitely indicates shady dealings with her refusing to answer any questions. Only a liberal can be stupid enough not to connect the dots. Maybe that is why Jeff has to use our tax dollars for his education and business. Now, Jeff is going to request what charges in his immature fashion, lets start with espionage, corruption, maleficence in office, lying to Congress, incompetence that killed 4 Americans (negligent homicide), selling influence, accepting bribes, and the list goes on. Of course, the Dems should demand an independent prosecutor and a Grand Jury investigation. But they like a system of privilege and social status and Hillary has both.

  11. david7134 says:

Here is a run down for your concerns over charges:

Now, we all know that you will say bad things about Napolitano and the blog site. But that does not lessen the fact that Hillary is a criminal.

  12. Jeffery says:

You noting that Napolitano is a hack doesn’t excuse his opinion piece.

What if Napolitano grew a pair of balls and made solid accusations rather than squishy suggestions?

What if the “judge” backed up his innuendo with evidence?

    The FBI disagrees with you.

  13. David7134 says:

The FBI agrees with me. Add a lack of understanding to your talents. Really, why do you comment? You can’t grasp concepts, shape news to your very limited spectrum. Don’t have a bit of logic and your knowledge is limited to bizare web sites.

  14. Jeffery says:

So you agree with the FBI that there should be no charges against Secretary Clinton?

    Said Director Comey:

As a result, although the Department of Justice makes final decisions on matters like this, we are expressing to Justice our view that no charges are appropriate in this case.
