As always, the full set of pinups can be seen in the Patriotic Pinup category, or over at my Gallery page. While we are on pinups, since it is that time of year, have you gotten your “Pinups for Vets” calendar yet? And don’t forget to check out what I declare to be our War on Women Rule 5 and linky luv posts and things that interest me

Don’t forget to check out all the other great material all the linked blogs have!

Anyone else have a link or hotty-fest going on? Let me know so I can add you to the list. (BTW, since someone asked, the reason I leave links for the previous week up (or you might see a *) is because they are place holders for later in the day or for next weeks. Easier than rewriting all the time. Also, the listing order has to do with how they are added over time, not how good a post is. I just copy and paste from the previous week, then edit. If you see one of the *’s, go ahead and check out the blog anyhow, see if there is an update. I cannot update with my Android during the day.

As if there are 5 other women who would f*ck Rafael (Ted) Cruz without being paid or forced, lol. The affair story is indeed mule fritters.

  2. Normally I would use this space to thank you for the linky-love, but I think it’s far more important on this Resurrection Day to wish you and your family the joyous blessings of Easter.

  3. GOODSTUFF says:

Thanks for linking to the gigantic Rule 5 meta blog post, where Li Gong (our favorite geography teacher) teaches us about Cuba. Afterwards, the Cuban bombshell Olga Chaviano does some spaced out science!

    Happy Easter to all.

  5. JGlanton says:

    CPRC reminds us today that:

Since 1970, all of the 20 worst mass public shootings occurred outside the US. Muslims also committed 19 of the worst 20 mass public shootings in the world. 39 of the 43 worst shootings are outside the US.

    http://crimeresearch.org/2015/06/with-39-killed-in-tunisia-attack-the-top-three-mass-public-shootings-are-outside-the-united-states/

  6. Jeffery says:

    JGlanton,

The author conveniently redefined mass public shootings to include only 15 or more deaths to suit his/her biases.

For most Americans, mass shootings in the US are more important than mass shootings in Burundi.

For some perspective on the 10 highest causes of death in the US (2013 data):

    Heart disease: 611,105
    Cancer: 584,881
    Chronic lower respiratory diseases: 149,205
    Accidents (unintentional injuries): 130,557
    Stroke (cerebrovascular diseases): 128,978
    Alzheimer’s disease: 84,767
    Diabetes: 75,578
    Influenza and Pneumonia: 56,979
Nephritis, nephrotic syndrome, and nephrosis: 47,112
    Intentional self-harm (suicide): 41,149

We know there are around 11,000 murders committed using firearms, of which only a few are by mass shootings, fewer still by killers motivated by religion.

Some 15,000 Americans die from opioid overdoses each year.

Of the categories listed above, which ones take a number of younger residents and are preventable?

Suicides (41,000)? Accidental deaths (130,000!!!)? And we certainly need better treatments for Type I diabetes, and prevention of CV deaths and cancers (stop smoking, exercise, stop smoking, lose weight, stop smoking). According to the CDC smoking kills 480,000 Americans each year – and we have rewarded the “terrorists” who hook our kids on tobacco with billions of dollars!

So, in context, Americans dying at the hands of extremist Muslims is a teensy, tiny, miniscule problem. That’s not to say we should ignore the problem – and we haven’t. The efforts of the US government have kept the citizenry quite safe (as JG pointed out) compared to other, less well-equipped nations. In any event, the goal of terrorism is not to kill but to terrorize – to keep those attacked in a state of fear – far in excess of the threat.

Muslim terrorism, going on for at least 50 years with a major incident world wide about every other month (don’t bother to refute, I don’t care about your stats). So, we should not give a flip about an escalating situation that makes us unsteady about our environment, oh, and there are many more incidents that are not reported. Why does the left support Islam? I don’t get that, they are the opposite of everything the left/liberals/communist stand for. Perhaps our resident superior individual has never traveled. He has not seen the situation in Europe, he does not know of the no go sections of cities and the countryside due to Muslims, not extremities, MUSLIMS. It is easy to pontificate in ignorance, much harder if you know something. Then he brings up the opiates issue. Stupid. The people taking excess opiates frequently are not on prescriptions. Yet, doctors have now been told to stop prescribing narcotics. So, once again, you are being punished for the depredations of the few, typical, stupid American response from the left.

  10. JGlanton says:

Muslim terrorism, going on for at least 1400 years, starting with Muhammed’s 75 terrorist raids as described in the Koran and Hadith.

His examples are being followed to this day.

Tabari VIII:151 “The Prophet sent Ibn Abi out with a party of
sixteen men. They were away for fifteen nights. Their share of booty was twelve camels for
each man, each camel was valued in the accounting as being worth ten sheep. When the
people they raided fled in various directions, they took four women, including one young
woman who was very beautiful. She fell to Abu Qatadah. The Prophet asked Abu about her.
Abu said, ‘She came from the spoils.’ The Messenger said, ‘Give her to me.’ So Abu gave
her to him, and the Prophet gave her to Mahmiyah.”

  11. Jeffery says:

In the last 24 hours 6000 Americans died.

In the last 24 hours 70-140 Americans because they lacked access to affordable healthcare.

In the last 24 hours 100 Americans committed suicide.

In the last 24 hours 350 Americans died from accidents.

In the last 24 hours 30 Americans were killed by someone with a firearm.

And this occurs every day, day after day.

It is a sad tragedy that lives were lost today in Pakistan. It’s not surprising that right-wingers wish to exploit this tragedy to advance their agenda.

By the way, about your agenda. How do you suggest the US stop further attacks around the world?

  12. drowningpuppies says:

President Jug Ears spoke for a moment on the suicide bomber in Lahore. Told anybody listening what a tragedy it was and then went out to finish the back 9.

  13. david7134 says:

One of the things that our great president has done is to make other leaders in the past look fantastic. Nero is now exonerated for fiddling while Rome burned. Carter now looks like a military and economic genius. The list goes on. But, how do you do something about the Muslims? You begin by telling them they have a problem. Then you make life very hard for them till they change their cult. There are several very good books on counter terrorist activity, none of the activities that are recommended and work are we using. In fact, we are using the very techniques that are guaranteed to produce more terrorist activity.

  14. david7134 says:

Since we broke the economy, took away everyone’s good health insurance, increased the cost of medical care and are on track to spend at least one trillion dollars on nothing, everyone has health insurance, or at least a paper saying that they do.

  15. Jeffery says:

What is your plan for ending extremist Muslim terrorism?

  16. Jeffery says:

everyone has health insurance, or at least a paper saying that they do.

Not exactly. Some 19 conservative-run states chose not to accept Medicaid expansion, consigning many of their citizens to inadequate healthcare! Thanks Republicans! Thanks SCOTUS! This action by the Republicans deprived millions of their citizens of health insurance. Less health insurance results in less care.

Are you arguing that reduced access to healthcare resources results in BETTER healthcare? YOUR victims patients may think so, but in general it’s not true.

  17. Jeffery says:

What is your plan for ending terrorist attacks?

  18. Dana says:

    Jeffrey asked:

What is your plan for ending terrorist attacks?

The only way to win a war is to do as was done in World War II: wound or kill so many of the fighting aged men that there simply not enough of them left to fight, and destroy so much of the infrastructure which supports them, including the civilians who hide them and provide them with food, weapons and clothing, that they simply cannot fight anymore.

  19. john says:

Kony and The Lord’s resistance Army ( 10 Commandments based Law!!) has killed about 100,000
The biggest slaughter of human beings in the last 25 years has happened in central Africa About 5 million from the direct result of war.
This has been predominately christian on christian
Terrorism ???? in the USA 15000 are killed each year primarily by christians. When terrorists reach 1% (150 per year) maybe it will be worth noting
Until then let’s all work hard publicizing their acts just like they want us to. Let’s do everything we can to foster more terrorism by responding the way that they want us to respond. And if heaven forbid terrorism declines, well by all means let’s increase the amount of US bombs being dropped or invade another muslim country (Iran ?? all options are on the table!!!)
Conservatives seem to enjoy publicizing acts of “terror” they are like publicity agents for ISIS !!
Toddlers (under age 4) kill more Americans than do terrorists
