And by “climate change”, I mean cold fricking weather
Staff at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust Centre in Llanelli have been dumbfounded by the effect the cold weather has had on birds’ migratory cycles.
In recent days the centre has seen “unusually” large numbers of birds arriving “abnormally early” at the wetlands. According to the centre’s website this has included over 800 curlew, 3 whimbrel, 10 greenshank, 100 redshank, 90 oystercatcher and 190 black-tailed godwits. These are birds that would normally only be seen in Carmarthenshire in either Autumn or Winter.
The birds seem to be leaving Iceland early because it is really cold and heading to Wales (yes, part of the United Kingdom) early. Obviously, this is your fault for leaving your DVR plugged in as you head off to work, because greenhouse gases now cause the Earth to get cold.
BTW, it has been pretty darned cool and rainy in southern England as of late, so far another British year without a summer. They may get a brief break for a short spell, but many are predicting a rainy and cool Olympics.

Oh john, no one has denied the climate changes. The issue is whether man is causing or even affecting that change.
Furthermore, in case you can’t read, the birdies are migrating because the climate is COLDER – not warmer as you and others claim.
Of course the climate changes, John. Always has and always will. Also, weather happens.
In fact, the climate has actually been cooling for around 4,000 years. And hard data shows that the climate was warmer during the last 2 warm periods.
Oh, come on, GT, we all know that greenhouse gases that “trap heat” also make it fricking cold during the summer. Sheesh! 😉

I don’t know if we can survive this coming cooler summer or not? How many months are we going to hear the incessant stories from the Socialist Democrat Media Party about all the massive human and animal die-offs from the cooler, cloudier, rainier [?] Great Britain?
