Since we already know there were over 250 federal agents in the crowd agitating, it is very likely no Trump supporters did any damage at all. Sort of like the “unite the right” rally that was fully funded and organized by the SPLC. No “right” there who were not paid by the “Left” to be there.

He watched the riot on TV without telling them to stop. You know that.
A document written by a White House staff member seeking to advise Trump on how to act amid the riot, says “Anyone who entered the Capitol without proper authority should leave immediately.” Despite this guidance, Trump did NOT tell the rioters to leave the Capitol, and the president did not “call … any element of the United States government to instruct that the Capitol be defended.”
Specifically, Trump did not call the secretary of defense, and he did not speak to the acting attorney general or the Department of Homeland Security. Trump also did not order the deployment of the National Guard, and he did not attempt to work with the Justice Department to deploy law enforcement personnel.
Trump told his staff that his supporters “were doing what they should be doing.”
Trump stood by watching the riot/insurrection. There is NO evidence that government provocateurs (250!!) led the riot and committed the violent actions and property damage.
Donny was hoping the attack would stop or at least signicantly delay the certification of the vote.
