The most wonderful Dolly Parton passed away today at 80. A great songwriter and a kind, confident and giving soul. She composed some 3000 songs.
A great American treasure from the hills of eastern Tennesee. She releaed over 50 solo albums.
Dolly Rebecca Parton was born on January 19, 1946, in a one-room cabin on the banks of the Little Pigeon River in Pittman Center, Tennessee.
