We Can Help Solve Hotcoldwetdry If You Just Give Up One Meat Meal A Week

Shouldn’t all Warmists be going meatless all the time and eating bugs?

Swap In Just One Meatless Meal a Week for an Easy Climate Win

As we emerge from winter, spring brings the promise of leafy greens, ripe red berries, and crisp asparagus—and the joy of planting new fruits and vegetables in home gardens.

All of this serves as new inspiration for the meals you put on your plate. As you test out budding in-season produce and add new plants to your garden, consider another change you can make to bring fresh life to your spring meals: eating a plant-based meal once a week.

“Vegan diets or plant-based diets, are vastly less resource intensive than animal-based diets,” says Gidon Eshel, research professor of environmental physics at Bard College, who has studied the environmental impacts of plant-based diets. (snip)

Research has shown that what we eat really can have an environmental impact. One 2023 study found that plant-based diets produce 75% less heat-trapping gas, generate 75% less water pollution, and use 75% less land for growing than meat-rich diets. Just one meatless meal a week can reduce your annual carbon footprint by as much as not driving your car for a month.

As you start shopping, consider visiting your local farmers markets for produce—they often carry in-season fruits and vegetables grown locally, adding another bonus for lowering the emissions impact of your meal.

How about this? Mind your own f’ing business, cultists. Go practice what you preach. Leave the rest of us alone.

    Our esteemed host asked:

Do bugs not constitute meat? Are bugs acceptable for vegans?

Hey, I’ve been told since childhood that fish are not meat, so . . . .

LOL! Tell me again how these mostly urban liberals are “planting new fruits and vegetables in home gardens.”

As for “crisp asparagus,” the Lord did make three serious mistakes in creation: peas, lima beans, and asparagus.

    • Alias says:

Dana will you be planting your 30 acres of soy this year?

liberal men NEED that soy. Dont force them to eat meat.

What sort of price/profit are you looking at harvest?

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

How dare the big C Catholic brother Dana disparage his Lord!! Peas, lima beans and asparagus were seriously mistaken creations but not racism, misogyny, childhood cancer and pedophile Catholic priests??

      • While I doubt that you will read it, I suggest that you can find the answers to your question in my favorite Old Testament book, Job. It’s long, 42 chapters, and involved, but if you can manage it, arise early on Saturday, get a good cup of coffee, sit in a comfortable chair, and try to read it straight through.

Don’t try to read it too fast. The three sets of speeches by Job and his friends have subtle differences of which Plato would be proud to have written. After the three sets of speeches, the Lord finally answers Job, beginning with chapter 38.

        • Elwood P. Dowd says:

So “G*d” was testing Job’s faith by killing his 7 sons and 3 daughters? But in “G*d”‘s defense He did later give Job replacement sons and daughters.

Some blame a wager between “Satan” and “G*d” to determine if Job was devout ONLY because of the wonderful bounty he received from “G*d”.

“G*d” created lima beans, childhood cancers, asparagus, racism, pedophilia, rape, war, murder and nazis as tests of faith. That and to demonstrate His dominion over all things in the expanding universe. Mere Man cannot possibly fathom the workings of “G*d” and must be resigned to an attitude of absolute trust and dependence Him.

Even Iron Age Hebrews understood the paradox of an omnipotent, omniscient, omnibenevolent and omnipresent Supreme Diety who also created abject evil – e.g., lethal, painful cancers in innocent children. Suffering in children is nothing compared to eternal paradise!

The increasingly belligerent William OUTRAGED at the mere suggestion that Americans eat one non-meat meal a week!!

He acreeches: “How about this? Mind your own fucking business, cultists. Go practice what you preach. Leave the rest of us alone.”

LOL. Take a deep breath and IGNORE the mere SUGGESTION. It will be good for hypertenssion.

Why does this suggestion upset you so much?

ground beef national average is now $6.70 80% lean

Didn’t Trump promise his boy Teach LOWER grocery prices?

  5. Professor Hale says:

We should get credit for all the meat we gave up due to bidon-flation making meat more expensive. Thus climate change is cured and no further action is needed.

    • alias says:

problem is 75% of US agriculture workers are foreign born if they go who is going to feed us?

      • Jl says:

Foreign born or illegal, Johnny? Big difference. Who’ll feed us? US citizens

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

The U.S. has cut CO2 emissions on average about 1% a year for the past 20 years.

  6. norsis says:

Send home the thirty million illegals and they wont be eating meat. Problem solved

    • Aliss says:

      Dana
Trump has driven the price up over 11 bucks plus 6% meal tax and 20% for the pretty waitress you are looking at 15 bucks at McAlisters deli and not comparable at all to Katz’s No waitress to tip at Katz’s
      Plus
at Katz’s there is a good 50/50 chance that some girl will do an encore of Meg Ryan’s fake orgasm especially weekends
Mcallisters corned beef sandwich 10oz meat. Katz’s about 16oz. Katz brines their own corned beef and pastrami.

10oz vs 16 oz you get what you pay for or in the case of Katz’s and ebt you get what you DON’T pay for

  7. alias says:

Many fish markets fry or steam for free and my fav takes OTC
    OTC for lobster is awesome

  8. Elwood P. Dowd says:

Many of the foreign-borne AG workers are present without permission.

But why are Mr trump’s goons ignoring them and the meat packing workers? Ask Cargill, Archer-Daniels-Midland (ADM), CHS Inc., Bunge, Tyson, Pilgrim, Perdue etc. $$$$ LOL.

Why have CUNT agents not chased down the illegal billionaires and millionaires who are hiring these “30 million” workers? No jobs, no workers!

    This is all for show.
