While I doubt that you will read it, I suggest that you can find the answers to your question in my favorite Old Testament book, Job. It’s long, 42 chapters, and involved, but if you can manage it, arise early on Saturday, get a good cup of coffee, sit in a comfortable chair, and try to read it straight through.
