Climate change leads to worsening seasonal allergies … and maybe even more suicides
This is not an April Fool’s Day joke, even though many may wish it were. March is coming to a close, but for those with seasonal allergies, the suffering is just beginning.
Cities like San Diego, which have ranked low on lists of the worst cities for seasonal allergies, jumped into the top 20 this year, thanks to high pollen counts.
The cause? Climate change.
It couldn’t have anything to do with the types of trees, bushes, and flowers being planted in San Diego, could it? And the fact that warm periods have been happening on and off throughout the Holocene?
Numerous studies have found that climate change is to blame for longer allergy seasons and worsening symptoms. Freezing temperatures are waning sooner, allowing plants and flowers to bloom and release pollen earlier.
“There are these extreme, chaotic conditions that climate change is associated with,” Kari Nadeau, chair of the Department of Environmental Health at Harvard’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health, told a Boston television station. “And that warming is affecting our pollen seasons.”
A few extra days a year? Big deal. This has happened before and will happen again.
That toll can also affect mental health.
In a study published last October, the Journal of Health Economics said deaths by suicide rose by about 7.4% on days when pollen counts were the highest. Although the study did not establish a definitive link, it suggested that allergy symptoms lead to diminished cognitive function and disrupt sleep, both of which are “predictors of suicidality.”
So, no link, but, they’ll fear monger regardless. Cult.

And shockingly the ATF after examining the bullet taken from Charlie Kirk’s body could find no evidence it came from the rifle owned by Tyler Robinson’s grandpa that we were told he used to kill Charlie Kirk
At that range a 30.06 has about twice the energy of as 5.56

Robinson was 142 yds out with a scoped .30-06. It struck me as strange that they recovered the .30-06 bullet in his neck, which makes no sense at all unless the bullet ricoheted and was slowed by something. Or was a fragment.
If you shoot a 180 lb deer in the torso at 140 yds the bullet goes through and through.
How could they find the bullet under skin of his neck?
Another home-run on lack of self-awareness: Gay-J: “Jildo has become a mathematics denier!” Next sentence: “at least you recognize that the rate of warming is increasing”. If it’s recognized that the rate is increasing, what “mathematics is being denied?”
Bottom line, as always, nothing was refuted that I said.
Johnny-“The rate doesn’t matter?” Can you point to some verified negative effect due to an increasing rate as opposed to the warming proceeding at a normal rate? No, you cannot. Which is why the alleged effects of the rate is what would matter, not simply the rate.
After denying that the Earth was warming, Jildo now admits it is. But their current opposition is based on any efforts to reduce the rate of global warming. Why? Because they don’t approve of the proposals to reduce CO2 emssions.
Gay-J quickly changes the subject to try and not look like a fool. Good deflection! Never denied warming, just how much and why. But you already knew that….

Your motives are clear. You’re lying now, of course. All you cliimate change deniiers started out as warming deniers. Don’t you remember claiming the climate scientists were fudging the data? And that they go back and change the old data. William still does claim the “warming” is an artifact of Urban Heat Islands, siting of thermometers and land use changes.
To yuor credit, you now recognize and accept that the Earth is warming and now question the cause and the impacts.

Gay-J.. If you could show where warming was ever denied, you’d have done so. “Fudging the data”. Professor-that would go under the “it’s warming but how much is in question”. “To my credit..” Thanks, but no credit needed, as the warming was never denied, even though you try your hardest to make it so..Keep trying!
