I may have figured out the issue. I use a plugin called Yoast SEO, and it update a week ago. I had already tried a bunch of stuff, which I won’t bore you with, even turning Jetpack, a big part of WordPress, off, since one plugin that shows plugin use showed it used a lot of resources in RAM. But, Dreamhost showed me a different metric, showing Yoast was very high. Turned it off, reset the server, and I haven’t seen an offline on the add post page in 20 minutes.
If you are still seeing the downtimes, slowdowns, and 503 errors, please comment. Crossing fingers that this fixed it.

Crossing fingers. I could barely check anything within the WP admin panel because wouldn’t stay up long enough. Took 3 times and 10 minutes just to turn Yoast off

Mr Kennedy ALSO claimed there is no evidence that the vaccine saved American lives. He earlier said it killed more Americans than it saved!!
He said the CDC was the most corrupt agency at HHS, maybe in all of government!
WP depends on its plugins. The problem is that a lot of them are not very well maintained. A fair number are security nightmares, but they seem to be getting that under control. Not surprised that one is chewing up resources. Glad you’re back to the status quo ante…
Technology is wonderful. Until it isn’t.
I was trying everything. Manually banning IPs for bots. Turning this and that off. Deleted old unused plugins. Was going to try and figure out how to reconnect to Cloudfare, since Dreamhost did away with their direct connection. Had to be the Yoast. Wordfence and Blackhole, 2 that handle bots, were only spiking a 9, and, my email has tons of calls for bad bots hourly. Yoast was almost 26. And that was constant. As soon as deactivated, everything fine.

Mr trump has taken a highly unusual interest in Ms Maxwell, sending the Deputy Attorney General to interview her for hours AND having her tranferred to a “prison camp” called “Club Fed”, in an upscale Houston neighborhood, with celebrity co-convicts Jen Shah (wire fraud) and Theranos CEO Elizabeth Holmes (fraud).
Ms Maxwell volunteered a statement that Mr trump was not involved! If you can’t trade a sex-trafficking pedophile asking for a pardon, who can you believe?

I, for one, want to see all pedophiles severely punished, no matter which political party they are in or which nationality or religious demographic. As a matter of public policy, any society that won’t defend its own children does not deserve to survive. The death penalty is too infrequently used.
