Whelp, so much for two weeks
One thing about Trump, he is not predictable, which is a good thing since the enemies of the US can’t play us
Trump: U.S. Completed ‘Successful Attack’ on Iranian Nuclear Sites
President Donald Trump revealed that the United States had just completed a “very successful attack on” three nuclear sites in Iran, such as Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.
“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. “All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!”
Obviously, this is making the Democrats and TDS infused Republicans upset
(CNN) GOP Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky took to X to say, “This is not Constitutional.”
Democratic Rep. Sara Jacobs of California had a similar sentiment, saying on X, “Trump’s strikes against Iran are not only unconstitutional, but an escalation that risks bringing the U.S. into another endless and deadly war.”
Massie is such a disappointment. But, how is it un-Constitutional? They do not say. Did they say the same when Biden and Obama were bombing targets? Did Trump break them so bad that they want to protect Iran?
(NY Times) Some members of Congress criticized the Trump administration for not seeking congressional approval before U.S. troops engaged in attacks against Iran. “This is not Constitutional,” said Representative Thomas Massie, Republican of Kentucky, who was a co-sponsor of a resolution trying to block any military action in Iran without Congress authorizing it.
Writing directly in response to Trump’s statement, Representative Jim Himes, a Democrat from Connecticut on the Intelligence Committee, said, “According to the Constitution we are both sworn to defend, my attention to this matter comes BEFORE bombs fall. Full stop.”
Did Massie do this for when Biden was attacking the Houthis? By the Constitution and law the president can engage in limited attacks and then inform Congress. They cannot start a full war. For one thing, you have the War Powers Resolution of 1973. Massie seems to be the only Republican in Congress whining, but, there are many pundits on Twitter having a hissy fit. I like this reply to Massie’s tweet (which also got retweeted by Rashida Tlaib)
Nothing about the autopen’s four years was constitutional. You stayed quiet.
Nothing about USAID fraud back to Congress was constitutional. You stayed quiet.
Nothing about Biden’s open border was constitutional. you stayed quiet.
Nothing about taxpayer money being laundered through NGO’s back to the spouses of Congressmen was constitutional. You stayed quiet.
Nothing about Ukraine funding laundered back to members of Congress bothered you either.
Nothing about J6 seemed to bother you.
Nothing about the weaponization of government against conservatives bothered you.
But Trump… every move is called out by you. I do not remember you being this active vocally calling out Biden at all. That was the most unconstitutional 4 years we have ever experienced in this nation’s history. And yet, you stayed silent with small push back on minor budgetary issues.
As far as more Democrats, other than Fetterman, they’ll all be whining. Trump is supposed to speak at 10pm Saturday night, so, I’m sure I’ll update this post in the am.
Oh, and I really intended to ignore the Dem responses, because they are what you expect. Except, I ran across this
She literally calls it illegal without congressional authorization, then cites the actual Congressionally passed resolution that makes it legal. Fucktard.

More from old timey conservative David Frum…
Almost all the Republicans opposing war with Iran will not support it. Senator Massie (R-KY) is an exception. “This is not our war,” he wrote. “Even if it were, Congress must decide such matters according to our Constitution.” The rest of the opponents, fearing Dumbo Don, changed their tunes.
Today, our constitution is a few pages of suggestions.
Senator Massie: “This is not our war. Even if it were, Congress must decide such matters according to our Constitution.”
Might want to back that one up, slick, with something besides rhetoric.
Bwaha! Lolgf!

Trump’s new boss, Netanyahu “told the Trump administration they do not want to wait two weeks for Iran to reach a deal to dismantle key parts of its nuclear program and Israel could act alone before the deadline is up.”
Headline Donnie could not have Israel getting the credit, so he acted!
Jaydee “Sofa Boy” Vance disagreed with Headline Donnie!!
Monitors are NOT picking up released radiation from the targets.

Bwaha! Lol!
Bombing has traditionally always unified a country, think 9/11
Managing reality y announcing A COMPLETE SUCCESS !!! Doesn’t work in the long run. It didn’t work in Afghanistan, didn’t work in Iraq, now best friends with Iran!
Would Trump’s 180 degree turn from his pre election promises (no new wars) indicate to anyone else that the tapes taken from Epstein’s home are now on the hands of Mossad? If not then, who now owns them?
Modern conservative Thomas Nichols:
From The New York Times, not exactly an evil reich-wing source:
At this point, does it matter? If American intelligence estimates are that Iran could have built an atomic bomb in “several months” and “up to a year,” the case for destroying their nuclear weapons facilities is not significantly different from Mossad’s estimates of two weeks. Going ahead now just covers the difference between the two time frame estimates.
Iran just voted to close the Strait of Hormuz, through which China and India get much of their oil and gas.
