President Donald Trump’s latest climate rollback makes it all but official: The United States is giving up on trying to stop the planet’s warming.
In some ways, the effort has barely started.
More than 15 years after federal regulators officially recognized that greenhouse gas pollution threatens “current and future generations,” their most ambitious efforts to defuse that threat have been blocked in the courts and by Trump’s rule-slicing buzzsaw. Wednesday’s action by the Environmental Protection Agency would extend that streak by wiping out a Biden-era regulation on power plants — leaving the nation’s second-largest source of climate pollution unshackled until at least the early 2030s. Rules aimed at lessening climate pollution from transportation, the nation’s No. 1 source, are also on the Trump hit list. (snip)
“There’s no way around it: The left strategy on climate needs to be rethought,” said Jody Freeman, who served as counselor for energy and climate change in President Barack Obama’s White House. “We’ve lost the culture war on climate, and we have to figure out a way for it to not be a niche leftist movement.”
Well, perhaps if they hadn’t framed it as being about government control of people, of telling them how to live their lives, taking away their freedom, liberty, and life choices, and taking more of their money, it wouldn’t have failed. Perhaps if the people pushing the climate scam hadn’t been all about fearmongering while refusing to practice what they preach it wouldn’t have failed. Perhaps if they relied on science rather than bloviating.

He no longer talks about “skyrocketing costs” nationwide electric costs avg rate increase is 2% even as renewable use increases.
But keep trying Teach, tell us again about Teslas exploding everyday or birds being incinerated by thermal solar mirrors.

Why have none of the dire predictions of the climastrologers come true? Why do none of the computer models of climate change accurately back-cast? Why are the model in use not subject to review and analysis by independent researchers? Why isn’t it recognized that currently solar cycles are only poorly understood?
CO2 is one of the main struts of all life on the planet. Plant life depends on it and, by extension all animal life depends on it. Even today it constitutes a tiny portion of our atmosphere and realistically poses no possible risk. It has been radically higher in the past long before humans existed.
The whole climate change scam is simply an attempt to further control people and their free choices.
It was predicted that the increase in CO2 would cause the Earth to warm. It has.
It was predicted that warming would cause an increase in ocean volume (by volume expansion and more water). True.
It was predicted that sea ice, ice sheets and glaciers would decrease. True.
It was predicted that animal, plant, fungi, bacteria, parasite distribute would change. True.
Indeed, CO2 is critical for life on Earth. The Earth’s ecosystems regulate CO2 – oceans, weathering rocks, plants etc. Humans have increased CO2 50% (so far) from burning fossil fuels.
Even with the heat waves, wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes, droughts and floods, Homo sapiens as a species will survive!!
Anyway – relax. Humans have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that we are incapable of cooperating to help future generations. It’s biological.

Correlation does not equal causation.
But there is zero correlation as temperature rises independent of carbon as carbon follows temp rise.
If you had started your war on carbon with an effort to plant trees, which your group didn’t, instead of efforts to destroy western civilization, then people might have listened.
