Mother Nature’s wrath spares no one: man, woman, government, or corporation, the climate crisis is everyone’s business. We all play a role in alleviating or exacerbating the planet’s decline. Yet despite this shared responsibility, why are women in many parts of the world more invested in the climate crisis than men?
In high-income countries, studies consistently show that women are more likely to express alarm or concern about environmental degradation and support policies that combat climate change. Women often lead the way and live more sustainably, from reducing waste to embracing ethical consumption. Meanwhile, men tend to lag behind, showing less concern and fewer efforts to adopt sustainable practices.
Women do? How’s that, with them purchasing way more self care products and clothes and shoes and handbags and stuff? They can express alarm or concern all they want, they do not practice what they preach.
This disparity is not just a social issue; it’s a costly setback that hinders our collective ability to address the climate crisis. When half the population is less likely to engage or act on environmental issues, we lose invaluable support for tackling one of the greatest challenges of our time.

I just drove from Virginia to Montana. If there are fewer cattle, you couldn’t tell by looking. I saw tons of them and plenty of calves for next year too. Farm reports on the radio were optimistic about prices for current deliveries and futures. It seems cattle industry is doing something right with or without Trump’s involvement.
“Caring” is easy for those people who pay no price and suffer no shortages in their lifestyle. Specifically younger women in wealthy nations.
If you really want men to care about the planet as much as women, expect a few solutions that actually matter and will make a difference:
1. Stop all immigration from the “underdeveloped” world. Smaller populations are much more sustainable. MUCH. They use less of everything.
2. Permit foreign nations to starve if they cannot feed themselves. (fewer people).
3. Cut off all internet access to Asia and Africa. This is the trolley car of hyperconsumerism.
4. Sink every ship from China. They are plundering the world’s oceans without regard to treaties or protected zones. Then blockade all their ports to prevent them from launching new ships.
You see. Men don’t sit around talking about “raising awareness” and “donating to causes”. They propose solutions that matter.
