Canada’s Justice Minister: Trump Supporters ‘Oughta Be Worried’ About Frozen Bank Accounts
Canada’s Justice Minister, David Lametti, has told Trump supporters who donated to the “Freedom Convoy” to “be worried” about having their bank accounts frozen.
Speaking with CTV News, when Lametti was asked if regular citizens who donated to the “Freedom Convoy” protests in opposition to the vaccine mandates should be worried about having their assets frozen by the government, Lametti singled out pro-Trumpers. The reporter asked:
You just compared people who may have donated to this to the same people who maybe are funding a terrorist. I just want to be clear here, sir. A lot of folks say, ‘Look, I just don’t like your vaccine mandates and I donated to this, now it’s illegal, should I be worried that the bank can freeze my account?’ What’s your answer to that?
“Well, I think if you are a member of a pro-Trump movement who’s donating hundreds of thousands of dollars and millions of dollars to this kind of thing, they oughta be worried,” responded Lametti.
Lametti also said that truckers could lose their trucking license if they participated in the protests or if their company permitted them to participate in the protest. (tweets with videos of all this at the link)
You’d think that the Justice Minister would understand the Canadian Constitution and its Declaration of Human Rights, right? How soon till someone files a suit against the Canadian government, especially Justin Trudeau? Because this is some rather dangerous stuff, government taking away people’s constitutionally guaranteed rights because they do not like what they are protesting. Certainly, any action for freedom is considered Insurrection by far leftists, such as those in power in Canada. Trudeau accused the right in his parliament of standing with the Nazi flag to which it was repeatedly denounced and demanded a retraction which Trudeau refused to do, doubling and tripling down on the center-right in his government of supporting insurrection.

If he is referring to people who reside inside his own country or who are Canadian Citizens then okay, let Canada battle that out in their courts. But if he is referring to the 100’s of millions of Trump supporters around the world then this is such an overreach as to be jaw-dropping. Does he really intend to freeze the bank accounts of someone in France, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Scotland The USA, and Mexico along with 100 other countries? Make no mistake Trump is widely admired by the right around the world which is why the establishment even in Canada is going after Trump supporters.
If so then the power of his office has disengaged his brain and kicked into action the true feeling he harbors inside for those that would dare oppose any brand of authoritarianism run by governments.
Free thinking is allowed in Canada! As is protesting! Crippling the economy by blocking an international bridge was tolerated for weeks. The protesters were not shot, clubbed, tear-gassed (as trump did the DC protesters)… but they HAVE been asked to leave.
The Canadian people don’t support the siege.

“It is just outrageously loud,” Chown said. “The diesel fumes are potent. They’re setting off fireworks outside our front door, defecating on our property, using it as a washroom. There is garbage everywhere, they are drinking in public.”

Ms Boyland was trampled to death by her fellow insurrectionists. She was a QAnoner with a rap sheet of multiple arrests for drug use but had been clean for a while. It seems as if she substituted one addiction (trumpist, QAnon) for drug addiction.
